Why do basketball players go to trainers that teach a zillion basketball dribble moves and still can’t get by a defender. Perfect a dribble move, add a counter move and get really good at those. Make sure workouts are game-like oriented drills.

Top scorer in D1 women’s game is 5’9, #3 on that list is 5’6”. Recruiting based off height is lazy.

Need to start teaching people to run their heads into peoples arms and they will get an upgraded foul. That was one of the worst calls i’ve ever seen. Iowa is getting this one gifted to them. Ball don’t lie tho.

@TheVegasAlpha @CreighTakes He will always be willing to change to fit his style and knows the kids that fit his style. Also has a very talented staff that I know will work hard and have some good connections.

@tschnak @CreighTakes I guess we will see. I don't see B1G type talent wanting to play in that system. He may always over achieve with what he gets, but I think he has a distinct ceiling at this level unless he is willing to change a lot. He definitely over achieved this year.

Man, I just want Pau to go on a podcast and FLAME all these former Kobe teammates. He’s one of the main guys who can call them all out. Pau was considered a “soft Euro” when he played for the Grizzlies, and everyone said he wasn’t a winner. He came to the Lakers and they went to the Finals his first year. He got bullied by KG and Perkins in the ’08 Finals. The “soft” narrative continued. That summer, Kobe pushed Pau like he’d never been pushed before: early-morning training, late-night weight-room sessions, endless film sessions. Kobe verbally abused him daily in practice, calling him weak. How did Pau respond? He toughened up and stepped up. One of the greatest Laker playoff runs in ’09, then in ’10. He faced the Celtics again and not only held his own- he was DOMINANT. Kob was training DAWGS. Some stepped up and became champions. Others, 15 years later, went on a podcast and complained about Kobe’s leadership style✌️

@TheVegasAlpha @CreighTakes Look at his resume he will find another player to replace Stirtz. He always has. His last dominant guard before Stirtz made it to the league from D2. His system is bigger than any one player. Followed Ben closely for over 20 years, even played against him. He just has IT 💯

Lets see how he does without Stirtz before glazing him too much. They over performed no doubt and their style was perfect to beat Florida, but they also lost to Penn St this year. Not sure many elite players will want to play in that system. He is a good coach, but a lot to prove at the D1 level.

@andrewhth @CreighTakes He had no other option it was his first season taking over a bad team. Had to do an overhaul to give them a chance in season 1.

@CreighTakes He is praised for building a new roster after taking over but other coaches get crushed for doing the same thing.

cannot fake the funk forever. it will always come out. there is a difference in player who love the game compared to love what the game can do for them.

Not a lot of dribbling in the NCAA tournament. A ton of CATCH AND SHOOT jumpers though — maybe go work on that more than anything. Not sure how any player that is serious about improving & wanting to play at a high level doesn’t want to go shoot right now

Recruiting 101 for coaches, offer almost every kid in the ESPN top 25 early, as you start realizing you’re not getting one, move down the list. But here’s the thing, those lists are built off early maturers & big athletes, they aren’t designed to catch the kids that just keep 📈

Gonna take a little more than just good coaching, gonna take some serious 💵 💰 to compete in today’s game. People say that NIL leveled out the playing field.. but did it?
