דעה לא פופולרית: לימודי ליבה עוזרים. למעט חריגים, אי אפשר להגיע לכלום בחיים האלה בלי ידע מתמטי, שליטה באנגלית, אוריינות טכנולוגית והבנת ההקשר ההיסטורי של חיינו כאן. חברה חפצת חיים לא אמורה לממן את הנצחת העוני והבערות שפוגעים בכלכלתה.
