I was filling up my car yesterday and thought about this. The same folks who complained about Biden and gas prices are absolutely silent when it’s Trump and gas prices.
Why do we critique those on the opposite side, but won’t say anything when it’s people on our side?

@revruck I can think of 2 reasons. One, there is an undeniable connection of the higher prices to the Iran conflict, which leads to number two, that the right is willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt that this will be a relatively short lived conflict after which the prices will

What helps the most is reorienting the budget towards things that affect growth.
Outreach, missions, community facing.
The issue here is that often those funding the budget feel like they aren’t getting their way and become disconnected from the church.

Every single struggling church I know tries to somehow manage shrinking finances by cuttinge the budget.
That somehow spending less money is a recipe for long term success.
Hint - It never works.
Struggling churches cutting the budget usually end up in a death spiral.

Elon Musk has been calling for the Epstein files to be released and for offenders to be prosecuted for years.

It’s inevitable, some of my friends in the GMC are already beginning to see denominational bloat creeping up.
Networks are the future, but I do wonder about the accountability piece of networks.
How do you have accountability in independent networks?

Very interesting. People care less and less about denominations. Local churches are king right now. I wonder if we’ll see the rise of smaller denominations/networks?
