FUN FACT FRIDAY: Polk State Baseball is one of four FCSAA teams to have won at least 30 games in each of the last four years Under Head Coach Al Corbeil, Polk State Baseball has become a force to be reckoned with throughout the state of Florida and beyond. As Corbeil enters his 15th season at the helm, he's guided Polk State to 10 FCSAA Tournament appearances, including the title in 2012. The Eagles have reached the postseason in each of the last four seasons. Over that stretch, Polk State has won at least 30 games each season. Among FCSAA Division I programs, only College of Central Florida, Florida SouthWestern State College, and Northwest Florida State College can say the same. Despite being limited to just 26 games during the COVID-shortened 2020 season, the Eagles are averaging 34 wins per season under Corbeil. Corbeil is the program's all-time wins leader with 477 career victories. That included a program-record 46 wins during Polk State's championship season in 2012.
