@AccessTheAnimus That isn't modern day. There is no story outside of the Animus.

The Modern Day story in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is not only made up of Rifts! Players will also find the so called Animus Data Files in the world 🔵 These are files, not currency 🔵 Once found, they can be accessed directly from the Animus Hub 🔵 Can be video, pictures, text 🔵 Each file seems tied to its location in the Caribbean world (as in, based on the build we tested, players will not always get them in the same order) 🔵 We cannot currently discuss their content (but we found 3 of those!)

I’m genuinely curious what the combat would look like. 🤔 Since it’s High Fantasy… Would a more realistic HEMA inspired approach be better? Or Would a slightly more unrealistic, dynamic, and faster paced style of combat be better? I’m surprised I’m saying this, but I kind of lean towards the latter for this game. Though perhaps only for the Elves and Humans. It would be kind of silly watching Dwarves Bloodborne quickstep around. 😆

@RavenMentore I agree, but Origins is an incredible Assassin's Creed game through and through so I'm unable to speak ill of that one

You know I used to remember Assassins Creed having this innovative and tasteful interface design that i loved, it really stuck out because you'd actually feel the animus upgraded along with the time passing, but as we got into origins and further we got slapstick stuck with the same HUD over and over, because there's no innovation, it's just copy and paste in that respect. Take a look at the images provided of different ACs throughout time, the interface got innovative, and after the changes later from odyssey, origins, valhalla, we got stuck to the same interface design, for me the animus FELT upgraded like it was a part of the lore of Assassins Creed and it's story. #assassinscreed #assassinscreedbrotherhood #assassinscreed3 #assassinscreedblackflag
