Today, I had the distinct pleasure of receiving Letters of Credence from three newly appointed Ambassadors-Designate at State House. Zimbabwe reaffirms its commitment to the policy of being a 'friend to all and enemy to none' as we pursue our engagement and re-engagement efforts to bolster bilateral relations globally. I formally welcomed: Ms. Maria del Rosario Mina Rojas, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Colombia, Mr. Yury Nikalaichyk, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Belarus, and Mr. Matthijs Pieter Van Eewen, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We anticipate strengthening our collaboration in crucial sectors such as trade, agriculture, and innovation, yielding mutual benefits for our nations. Zimbabwe remains open for business.

H.E. Zhou Ding, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, paid a courtesy call on Minister @HonZhemuSoda at his offices today. The two discussed deepening of cooperation in the broadcasting sector as well as the joint fight against disinformation & misinformation. #Vision2030

This afternoon, Ms. Shaikha Al Nowais, the newly appointed Secretary General of the United Nations Tourism, paid a courtesy call on H.E President Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa at Munhumutapa Building. She is the first woman to lead United Nations Tourism in its 50 year history.

The Civil Registry Department has set up a sub‑office @ZITF1 to provide birth certificate applications, ID registrations, death certificate processing, &record corrections. By bringing these services directly to the fair, citizens can access multiple public services in one place

Visiting Botswana President, Advocate Duma Boko today visited the National Heroes Acre in Harare. President Boko inspected the Half Guard and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, symbolising honour and respect to those that sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Zimbabwe remains eternally grateful to the people of Botswana for their unwavering solidarity and principled support during our struggle for liberation. Our histories are intertwined by the bonds forged in exile and the shared sacrifices of our freedom fighters, solidifying an unbreakable relationship rooted in common purpose. Today, we continue to nurture this strong and excellent relationship, forged in blood and guided by a shared vision for prosperity and stability in our nations and the broader SADC region.
