Absolutely raging re Burnley. The club alas cannot do anything as its something they cant control. What a poor decision to do that, for us, for Burnley, for fans who actually. pay to go to games. Literally 1000s and 1000s of people now having to make travel changes which will cost them fortunes and in some cases not changable. Horrendous decision

How many cars were clamped in Dublin today for not paying parking fees while we have trucks and tractors parked in the capitals O’Connell Street and no action. #Stopthemadness

It’s always so clear people who don’t actually go to Croker regularly Sure it can hold a lot of people but it’s basic af inside, parts are 30 years old now Would need serious work for a showpiece UEFA game

Croke Park apparently wants to host a UEFA Champions League final 82,000 capacity, one of the largest stadiums in Europe Amazing it’s not being used for Euro 2028 🇮🇪🏟️

🚨 OFFICIAL: Barcelona fill complaint to UEFA for referee and VAR decisions. ⚠️ FC Barcelona reports that, on the day of the day of the day, the Club's legal services have presented a formal complaint against UEFA in relation to the matches that occurred in the match of the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League against Athletic Madrid. The club considers that it will produce an arbitration action contrary to current regulations, with a direct impact on the development of the encounter and its result. The claim focuses on a specific action. At the 54th minute of the match, once the game had resumed correctly, a rival player will attack the pilot with his hand inside the area without that being pointed out to the criminal correspondent. FC Barcelona understand that this decision, together with the non-intervention of the VAR, constituted an important error. As a consequence, the club has requested the opening of an investigation, access to arbitration communications and, if applicable, the official recognition of errors and the adoption of the relevant measures. In this matter, FC Barcelona considers that it is not the first time that, in recent editions of the UEFA Champions League, incomprehensible refereeing decisions have harmed the equipment, generating a clear comparative group and preventing them from competing in equal conditions with other clubs.

Manchester City fans have formed an independent supporters’ trust – “a missing link in the chain between the club and its fans”. The Citizens Trust will voice fans' views to the club and campaign on “ticket prices, unnecessary restrictions on how season cards can be used, accessibility, fixture scheduling, terms and conditions and more”. TCT becomes the latest independent supporters’ trust in English football. “The lack of a supporters’ trust at City has long been a missing link in the chain between the Club and its fans,” says TCT interim chair Nick Clarke. “Now our fans have an opportunity to build a strong, collective voice to reinforce that link. "Supporters across the country feel increasingly disconnected from the modern game, often feeling powerless in relation to decisions impacting both their clubs and traditions they’ve built over generations - Blues are no different. This is our chance to begin reversing that trend at City in a really positive way.” Tom Greatrex, chair of the Football Supporters' Association, noted that City fans “have been a strong campaigning force on various important issues such as ticket prices and facial recognition technology in recent seasons” and added, “The trust will provide a democratic, inclusive, powerful voice for the club's fans and we'd encourage all supporters to get involved as members”. TCT will also seek to celebrate “the history, heritage and traditions” of the club “to ensure future generations of Blues can support and access the club as we have in the past”. TCT will also work to “improve the lives of Trust members outside of football through events, health and well-being schemes”. An interim board has been established of nine match-going City supporters “from a variety of backgrounds, but all with experience of effective, not-for-profit groups”. Elections will be held.
