NEWS: The Chinese-American brother and sister duo accused of planting a bomb at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Bay, Florida, on March 10 were born in the U.S. to Chinese illegal aliens. Their parents, who illegally entered the U.S. in the 1990s, had their asylum applications denied in 1998 and remained in the country illegally for decades. The parents were arrested by ICE on March 18 and remain in custody, according to The Daily Wire’s @MaryMargOlohan. The incident comes as the Supreme Court is actively considering President Trump’s executive order aimed at restricting birthright citizenship. The order seeks to limit automatic U.S. citizenship for children born on American soil to parents who are neither U.S. citizens nor lawful permanent residents. Do the right thing SCOTUS!

Yet another judicial smack down of Ketanji Jackson, this time by a fellow liberal. In my 4+ decades of following such things, I have never seen such public expression of distain by fellow justices. You may not think it much, but trust me, these are huge in the world of SCOTUS. This is the 3rd time fellow justices publicly pushed back on Jackson in written opinions or separate writings: one in the June 2025 standing/corporate-bias case, one in the June 2025 textualism case, and one in the March 2026 free-speech case involving Kagan’s footnote. Jackson is a judicial moron. She makes Sotomayor look like a genius. Kagan may be a lib but her decisions are rooted in law and she respects the rule of law, even when she has odd interpretations. “Justice Jackson’s dissenting opinion suggests that this is a minor, or perhaps even nonexistent, category. Yet even within her own arguments, when enumerating laws allegedly threatened by today’s decision, she provides numerous examples. … [Jackson’s position] depends on reinterpreting—and thereby blurring—the established distinction between viewpoint-based and other types of content-based speech restrictions.” - Justice Elena Kagan
