Hosted four enthusiastic high school students in the lab for four weeks. They learnt how plants can acquire superpowers with CRISPR. Fair to say, at least they fell in love with plants! 🌱 🥒 They make me laugh.

Same soil type, same corn-bean rotation 20+ years, however- left sample has not been tilled or had anhydrous ammonia applied for over 20 years. The soil on the right has been tilled each year and had anhydrous ammonia applied in the fall. #soil health.
