(CN, Global?) A summary of what's to come in the next seasons of Calabiyau, gathered from yesterday's livestream: 1. AI-powered Dorms - Around halfway done, expected to be included in the early December test server. - Miscellaneous character information (age, height, residence? stuff like that) expected to be fully fleshed out by next season, with character backstories soon to follow. - There could be minigames included in the dorms which would use up dorm gifts. 2. Rewards - Upon the beginning of the next season, 5x Memory Sequences will be given for free. There will also be another event that's "easier" to do that will also grant 5x Memory Sequences. - During early November, another event will allow for Navigators to trial & select a Legendary skin. (no idea which skins it includes though) - The Scythe and Lilith will also be obtainable through events,with the Scythe only requiring you to log in once, whereas Lilith will require you to play a few games to acquire it. 3. Map Workshop - There will be a gamemode with exclusively "fun/not super balanced" Map Workshop maps for the devs to test them out coming out soon. - Next season should see some Halloween-themed blocks (like pumpkins), as well as some miscellaneous blocks like doors that open after a delay, breakable blocks or rings. 4. Legendary Skin Customizations - The devs teased that Meredith's helmet could potentially be removable in the future. - The cost to remove a certain part of the skin will be adjusted to be lower in the near future. 5. New Superstring - Xi? - She will release in January, 1 month after Lilith. - She is said to be "a sweet hottie" by the devs. - The reason for no new Superstrings being released for the past 2 seasons was because the developers were busy making Lilith. - The devs stated "We will work on her gun a lot, and for example it could do 108 damage if all pellets hit the target, maybe 2 shots could kill an enemy and maybe a full magazine would be able to kill 3 enemies". 6. Melee Weapon Unbinding - The purpose of giving melee weapons their own slot was to prepare for another new gamemode that is still in its planning stage. - The devs are considering adding an option for the scrollwheel to skip padt melee weapons. 7. Recolored Skins - In the future, gacha pools like that of the Orbital Resonance will have their price lowered to the same as if Navigators were to directly purchase the skin. - Recolored skins will also not show up in gacha pools such as the Orbital Resonance as much, if at all. 8. Collaborations - Calabiyau PC should also get a collaboration soon. - For Calabiyau Mobile at least, they should be collaborating with a transport company (?), given that they've recently posted a poll to select the best design on a bus, they mentioned it would be with "a company you see immediately as you step outside", and also there are mentions of collaboration skins for the Escort payload in the files.

(CN) Patch notes for the Calabiyau Test Server v12.1 have been released! Link to original: docs.qq.com/doc/DWG9ISWdTd… Translation: 1. Gamemode Updates New Gamemode - Arms Clash - 3 teams of 5 players. - You can use any Superstring Agent you please, and by killing enemies, you get to upgrade your weapon. - All teams have the same weapon levelling system, and can move up to the next weapon after accumulating a certain amount of kills. - Once a team finishes levelling up their weapon, and uses the last weapon to kill someone, they will win the match. Outbreak Overhaul Rule Changes - All Crystallines now have active and ultimate skills. Active skills will be unlocked at the beginning of the round, but ultimate skills will have to be unlocked by levelling up. Red Omega Core Active Skill: Launches a projectile crystal in the direction of your crosshair that explodes on impact. You can also charge it to deal more damage and increase its range. Ultimate Skill: Immediately makes the active skill usable again, as well as increases attack speed. Blue Omega Core Active Skill: Releases [Crystalline Energy], which instantly heals you and your nearby teammates' HP and armor. Ultimate Skill: Blocks damage dealt to yourself for a duration of time. Deviant Active Skill: Enhances movement speed for a duration of time. Ultimate Skill: Unlocks your [Crystalline Core], which immediately makes your active skill usable again, as well as charging energy. Once the energy is at its max, it will deal explosive damage to your surroundings. - You can now choose what Crystalline you want to play as. (imgur.com/a/1WpzE9k) - Once you reach a certain level (e.g Level 5, Level 10), you can unlock certain things such as your ultimate skill. - Massively reduced the amount of knockback dealt by all guns, and buffed the movement speed decrease effect dealt to Crystallines for all guns. - Now, before the Final Showdown, melee weapons will now no longer be able to eliminate Crystallines from the round. - The [Blade Master] card will now grant a sword that deals knockback instead of a sword with increased attack. You can charge up a knockback attack via holding down on your secondary attack key and releasing it. - During the Final Showdown, after evolving, the surviving Superstrings can pick up Enhanced Ninjatos that spawn randomly around the map to kill Crystallines with. (imgur.com/a/Rw4hS9S) Skill Adjustments - Fragrans' tactical skill now lasts until the round is over instead of lasting for 10s. - Leona's tactical skill now slows Crystallines when they pass through her [Bulletproof Glass]. - The Red Omega Core's projectile crystal has had its HP reduced from 6000 to 3000. - The Deviant's damage reduction shield will now no longer make it immune to its movement speed being slowed. Balance Adjustments Arms Clash Baimo - His passive ability will no longer block the enemy from stringifying. Instead, if he is hit by a bullet or successfully dodges a bullet while stringifying, he will gain a big movement speed buff for a short duration. - His active skill's cooldown is now based on the amount of damage he's dealt to the enemy instead of the amount of bullets he's shot at the enemy. Kanami - Her passive ability now has a cooldown on all weapons outside of her [Finale]. Overall Balance Adjustments Audrey Active Skill Adjustments: - While in the turret mode, her gun will not be affected by any gun upgrades purchased in the buy menu. - Its shooting speed has been increased from 862 to 1200, however damage dealt has been decreased from 28 to 22. - Her turret now has 180 bullets in her magazine, and it regenerates 15 bullets every 10s. Buy Menu Adjustments - Her Awakening 2's turret damage has been increased to 8 from 6 previously. Kanami Active Skill Adjustments: - Her music note will no longer be fired with her gun, making the deployment faster, taking only 1.1s compared to 3.5s previously. - Her music note now only lasts for 6s instead of 10s previously. Buy Menu Adjustments: - Her Awakening 3's buff duration to teammates after they're out of range of the music note has been adjusted to 2.5s from 2s previously. Baimo Active Skill Adjustments: - His active skill now regenerates 20% of his maximum magazine capacity instead of a fixed amount of 2 bullets. Mara Tactical Skill Adjustments: - She can now be seen from 25m away instead of 10m away while stringified, and her ultimate skill will no longer reduce the range from where she can be seen. - She will now take less damage while stringified and when her tactical skill is activated at the same time. - Her tactical skill now lasts for 10s instead of 6.5s. Reiichi Tactical Skill Adjustments: - His tactical skill [Sacred Advancement] will now advance forward in 2s instead of 4s. 3. System Improvements Arcade Switchup - New Arcade Switchup mode, you can queue into different Challenge gamemodes at different times of day. Spray Wheel - You can now equip up to 8 sprays via a wheel system, similar to emotes. - You are now not limited to using sprays with sound effects pre-game. You can now use sprays with sound effects mid-round, but they will not have sound effects. Secondary Weapons - Secondary weapons (e.g. the Athena) and melee weapons (e.g. the Ninjato) have been separated into 2 categories, meaning that you can now equip a secondary weapon and a melee weapon at the same time. - The default key for the melee weapon will be 3, and the default keys for grenades/tactical skills will be changed to 4 and 5. - If any keybind clashes occur, change the keybinds in your settings.
