@Farouk_Mokwa I've never seen someone thank anyone for ptdf scholarship because it's based on merit not connection. But this government has bastardized everything they met. Vote them out now.

I, Farouk Jiya Muhammad graduated with a first class in Biochemistry, applied for the PTDF In-Country Scholarship, got shortlisted for an interview, travelled all the way from Mokwa to Abuja to be interviewed. I knew I did well during the interview as I even went beyond explaining my SOP, I had three publications as at then, and had a professional membership. I even received a congratulatory message and was later changed to be a network glitch, ashe you and your cronies were the one behind it. Nigeria my country!

Just look at the struggle and challenges the people of Buruku in Benue State were facing in order to cross to other communities before Tinubu and Umahi came to their rescue🤦🏾‍♂️ Even cars had to be transported with wooden boats across the river. Lives have been lost here and businesses have suffered stagnation with the entire community almost becoming an isolation. Meanwhile, David Mark, the Chairman of the failed @ADCNig COLLISION who has been in the Senate for over 2 decades is from this same Benue State and did absolutely nothing while in power. Now tell me, do you think the people of Buruku and Benue State at large will turn their back on the man who brought succor and livelihoods back to their communities? 2027, you people must learn a lesson!! Renewed Hope in 4K🔥

My colleague sponsored his girlfriend through university after her OND, helped her through NYSC, and even used his connection to secure a banking job for her. Last night she told him: “Calculate everything you’ve spent on me. I’ll pay you back.” They’ve been together for years. According to him, when she finished her OND, he supported her through university; school fees, upkeep, the whole struggle. After NYSC, he also helped her secure a job at a bank. Life was moving fine. Then recently, he noticed something. She started coming home late almost every day. Whenever he asked what delayed her, the answers were always the same: “Work.” “Office things.” “Nothing serious.” But yesterday was different. She came home around 9pm. He simply asked, “Where are you coming from?” She snapped immediately. “You’re stressing my life. Can’t I be free again?” Before he could even react, she added the line that finished the whole conversation: “Is it because you got me this job? Or because you trained me in school? Calculate everything. I will pay you back.” My colleague said for a few seconds he thought he misheard her. He hasn’t blinked properly since last night.

ICPC Conducts Search at Residence of Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai The residence of Malam Nasir El-Rufai, former Governor of Kaduna State, was searched today by operatives of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). The development was confirmed in a statement issued by Muyiwa Adekeye, Media Adviser to Malam El-Rufai. Ubong Akpan, one of El-Rufai's lawyers, condemned the search, describing it as "unlawful, and a clear violation of legal procedures and fundamental rights." This action comes amid an ongoing investigation into alleged financial misconduct during El-Rufai's tenure as governor. Reports indicate that El-Rufai has been in ICPC custody since Wednesday night, following his release on administrative bail from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This diagram was released to explain how the accident happened. The truck was parked on the road. The two individuals on the right were Anthony Joshua’s friends, who sadly lost their lives. Anthony Joshua and the driver survived the crash. The impact was concentrated on the right side of the vehicle. May the fallen heroes rest in peace. 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

The Goliath of Bad Roads: My Ten-Hour Journey With Dave Umahi. I love Dave Umahi I always have. I watched him closely during his time as governor, and I continued observing him when he became Minister of Works. Recently, I received an unexpected invitation to visit the Maraba road and the bridge near Keffi that collapsed three months ago. I hadn’t seen him in a while, so I decided to go. As usual, he teased me about my “opposition role,” saying, “Otunba, I know how you think. Come and see what the President is doing through me on infrastructure.” One of his favorite lines is: “Before now, Nigeria thought it was building roads but they never lasted. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is constructing roads that will last 50–100 years.” I agreed to come, and I invited some friends a mix of NNPP, AA, ADC, and even a Labour man (though the Labour man couldn’t join because of their congresses). Off we went: ten hours on the road, following Dave Umahi from site to site. Dave truly loves engineering. He understands construction deeply. He thrives in the field engaging contractors, giving instructions, verifying the quality of work, checking bills of quantities, and ensuring that agreements match execution. At the Maraba road, I was both shocked and delighted by the amount of work already done by a combination of local and foreign companies. I’ve often asked him, “Can’t our people build roads? Will they get the jobs too?” His answer is always the same: “As we inspect, you’ll see Nigerians who can match anyone in this field. The bidding and evaluation processes are competitive. And the value chain of construction supports millions of Nigerians, even when foreign contractors are involved.” He added that the President is just as concerned about developing local capacity. At that moment, I felt sadness and joy. How did Nigeria become a nation of complainers people who rarely return with testimonies of progress? My journey with Dave on the Maraba road actually began because young people in a barbershop complained bitterly about the agony they suffered on that road. I promised to speak to the Minister about it. Now, so much work has been done, yet not a single testimonial from the public. It made me wonder: What kind of people have we become? Why do we hate our own country so easily? We are all we’ve got, and we must learn to appreciate our collective efforts. When we reached the bridge, I was pleasantly surprised it was not only restored but strengthened, rebuilt better, and protected with gantries to prevent a recurrence. And all within such a short time. I asked His Excellency, “Professor in Practice” Dave Umahi how they accomplished this so fast, given that it was an unplanned emergency. He explained: once the collapse was broadcast on TV and Nigerians began lamenting, the President issued a marching order, backed it with immediate funding, and the ministry scoped the work and mobilized a contractor. In less than three months 29 days after completion the bridge was quietly reopened. I loved the “no fanfare” approach. I’ve always been uncomfortable with the wasteful culture of commissioning ceremonies. To me, finishing the project and quietly opening it is enough. Road users know the difference; the work speaks for itself. Save the money. From there, we headed toward Kaduna, stopping at critical points to observe the work. What struck me most was that at every single location, men and women were actively working. I heard in some areas Dave ordering ministry supervisors to temporarily relocate to boost oversight. He urged contractors to take advantage of the good weather, double their workforce and equipment, and work day and night under floodlights. He emphasized tree planting every 10 meters, the development of side corridors, and the provision of streetlights. At some point I found myself singing: “Things are getting better, things are getting better. For the Lord is on the throne, things are getting better.”

A man was in my DM this morning. He's considering breaking his 3 year relationship. One of the reasons he gave is this: He drove his girlfriend to ikorodu, she went to write an exam. They left very early in the morning, without eating. She spent about 5-6 hours in the exam hall. So while waiting for her, he bought something for himself & ate. Then figured that his girlfriend must be very hungry too. Then he bought her bolle (roasted plantain) and drinks. When she came out, he offered her the things that he bought. He didn't tell her that he had eaten anything. She ate the entire food, without asking him if he had eaten, neither did she offer to share with him. He was so disappointed in her. Also, for 2 years in their relationship, she didn't gift him anything. Always taking and taking, & giving sex in return. Their sex life is also not all that because, she is always requesting that they use lubes. So he's considering breaking up with her, because he doesn't think that she's kind enough, neither does she care about him. She's 29. Is this a justification to break up with her? End.

Whenever I dream of something good, it turns into reality. My dream for the day is that Malam Nasir @elrufai becomes President in 2027 and @raufaregbesola becomes his Vice President, and they lead us to enter the Ka’bah while we perform lesser Hajj (Umrah), under the guidance of the Saudi King and Crown Prince. We pray for the progress and development of Nigeria, and Insha’Allah, this combination will happen in 2027. I pray to Almighty Allah that this comes true. Muslim-Muslim Tickets again Ameen. #NorthWest #Southwest #ADC

Buhari ran 5times for President and he never chose a Muslim running mate- because he knew he was Muslim enough for the north. Tinubu was in a very tight position. He had to choose politics and his personal ambitions ahead of the religious stability of this country. Tinubu knew that running against an Atiku (a northern Muslim), he had no chance except he picked a Muslim northern vice presidential candidate. Tinubu had to run on a Muslim-Muslim ticket because he (and his strategists) knows deep down that the core North do NOT consider him Muslim enough, or Muslim at all. Nigerians hate the truth. So some of them will come under this tweet to cry and wail. But except and unless we start to have with ourselves these uncomfortable conversations, we can never make progress. The truth is the truth. And the truth must be said.
