@suusonline Stiekem? Probeer eens te turven hoe vaak je de focus op duurzaamheid/milieu ziet staan bij het centrum. Ook is Voedingscentrum ≠ Gezondheidsraad. Daarnaast, zoek a.u.b. even op wat de functie en oorsprong van de stichting is. Dit is ophef uit onwetendheid en onderbuik.

Oké, dit trek ik slecht. Adviezen die louter over gezondheid zouden moeten gaan, worden ineens vermengd met milieu- en klimaatdoelen.
Laat ik helder zijn: ik heb niets tegen adviezen die duurzaamheid bevorderen en die klimaatvriendelijk zijn. Helemaal niet. Maar wél als ze stiekem verpakt worden als gezondheidsadvies.
Het voedingscentrum hoort ons te informeren over de gezondheid mbt voeding. Wat een gezonde maaltijd hoort te bevatten. Feitelijk, wetenschappelijk. Daarnáást zou het in een apart kopje kunnen zeggen welke (hoeveelheid) voeding ook nog milieu- en klimaatvriendelijk is. Als ze die twee gaan vermengen en op basis daarvan restricties gaan opleggen, moeten ze echt de naam van dat centrum gaan veranderen. Zó slecht dit!

@ne_pas_cacher @f4micom Yeah this is in the Netherlands; even to this day the majority of the infrastructure revolves around natural gas. Despite that, I don’t think they were ever super common though. This one is right next to the gas boiler, so it was an easy installation.

my grandma bought this washing machine (pic is not mine but it was identical, sold with different brands depending on where in europe you lived) in I think 1980? and it kept marching on despite all of the plastic on it getting destroyed by time marching forward ruthlessly
we threw it away because it had some rust but it was still going lol

@f4micom You'll regret buying one. The front door rubber seal gets gunked up quick with hair and grime. If you're not checking the seal you'll get mold as well.

@bugsandfishes I hate AI. I also hate shaming people for finding a nudge to unlock their creativity. It rarely comes naturally and we all depend on inspiration and momentum, be it in books, movies, pictures. Never punish someone for trying, but educate on how to grow creativity without AI!!

We had a spare room at the back of our place doing absolutely nothing for years I asked Gemini what to do with it and implemented the suggestions. I don’t love everything about the room (open to changes!) but now we use the room every day.

@bbedeutungg Yes it really is the best environment to be in. The calmness of being far away from any artificiality is extremely underappreciated. I don't think I've ever felt more at ease than walking a frozen lake in the middle of nowhere; it really is that simple lol.

@FineAssHonky @adrianfclarke Yeah I had a Mazda 3 as well, and loved the rotary control! But the new CX-5 has no buttons at all.. it's all screen. I think it's idiotic since Mazda was always for tactile controls due to safety; their reasoning now is that it can be safe due to voice control LOL.

@tunkoer @adrianfclarke There's a touch screen but my understanding is it only works when the car is stopped.
The primary control for all functions are still the rotary dial+ physical dials.
I own and love a 2019 Mazda3 and a large part of that decision was not having to interact with any touchscreen

@FineAssHonky @adrianfclarke Mazda did research backing up that touchscreens are unsafe, but now they slap a tablet in the new CX-5 anyway..
They are usually pretty good at not giving in to focus groups though. And they're just a bit quirky.

Every time this comparison is made people disingenuously act as if Crew Dragon hasn't successfully completed 19 missions so far (20th ongoing) as if SpaceX didn't know what they were doing.
Also the interface has been developed in close collaboration with astronauts.
