Hezbollah planned to cause a national disaster in Lebanon in order to halt the IDF’s advance north of the Litani River. In a strike carried out near the Qaraoun Lake Dam, the IDF thwarted a Hezbollah plot to blow up the dam, which is a strategic national infrastructure asset that supplies electricity and water to large parts of Lebanon. The collapse of the dam could have unleashed a massive flood wave, causing widespread flooding, severe damage to critical infrastructure, destruction of property, and endangering the lives of countless civilians (many of them Shiites who support Hezbollah...). Why? To make crossing the Litani River impossible, prevent IDF forces from crossing it, and inflict damage on troops and equipment operating in the area on their way to seize the Beaufort Castle sector and the Ali al-Taher Ridge—strategic positions of significant operational importance. For Hezbollah, the heavy price that could have been paid by Lebanese civilians and the country's national infrastructure was simply not a consideration. GitHub Copilot moves to token based billing on June 1, and its users got a calculator showing their actual monthly token burn - some $39-a-month users have spent $1500 to $5800 in tokens a month. I believe it's indicative of every AI startup. wheresyoured.at/premium-what-i…

I actually looked it up, this is genuinely how this scene is shot. We firing a lot of millennial gamedevs, dawg.

The moral of 4chan's cultural victory over Tumblr culture is that calling someone a f****t and telling them to kys seems to be less hostile and alienating than typing a paragraph about why their statements are immoral

Exclusive- Israeli officials I speak with admit Iran’s core perception may be decisive: Tehran believes it is winning this war. When Iran agrees to a “gesture of goodwill” in Hormuz, it doesn’t see a concession- it sees recognition of its control. They say the leadership- operating under pressure and isolation - has only a partial picture of the damage inside Iran, reinforcing that confidence. Some now argue only a sharper escalation, including energy targets, can reset that calculus. This view has been presented to both American and Israeli decision-makers. I resigned from OpenAI. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together. This wasn’t an easy call. AI has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I’m proud of what we built together.
