Went here thinking it’d be a chill breakfast and everything just went f#cking downhill. Three of us. THREE. And somehow breakfast turned into a $313 disaster like we ordered gold plated eggs. $22 avocado toast, $12 WATER, coffee priced like rent, then management has the audacity to slap on auto gratuity and VAT like they didn’t already bend us over. Nothing tasted life changing, nothing justified the price, it was just overpriced plates and vibes of you’re on vacation so shut up. And the best part? They still leave space for extra tip like this whole bill wasn’t already a scam approved by management. This isn’t luxury, it’s lazy pricing and greedy management hoping no one calls them out. Completely f#cked

So I come home and see all my groceries just dumped outside like this. Bags thrown on the concrete, drinks on the ground, everything just sitting there like trash. Zero care. What makes it worse is that I messaged them to wait because I was literally near the house, minutes away. And still, no call, no text, no waiting. Just a quick doorbell tap and they vanished. Cool, thanks for the heads-up that my food is outside slowly becoming a neighborhood donation. I'm not asking for five-star service, but this is straight-up lazy and disrespectful. If you're going to drop stuff off, at least don't treat it like you're tossing junk on a sidewalk. This genuinely pissed me off because it's such an easy thing to do right, and somehow they still didn't.

Sidhu’s lawyer plans to request a deferral. A separate application to restore his permanent resident status, citing humanitarian reasons including a child with serious medical needs, remains under review. Sidhu’s crash killed 16 people and injured 13 when he ran a stop sign and struck the junior hockey team’s bus near Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

Alberta NDP leader Naheed Nenshi says he is using ivermectin to treat Morbihan syndrome, a rare chronic condition that causes facial swelling. Nenshi revealed the diagnosis during a virtual town hall after viewers noticed changes around his eyes. He described the condition as cosmetic, not painful, and not life-threatening. He said multiple treatments were tried and that ivermectin has helped reduce the swelling. Ivermectin became highly controversial in Alberta during the COVID-19 pandemic after health officials blocked its use for COVID patients, citing a lack of credible evidence and concerns over flawed or fraudulent studies. Alberta Health Services said high-quality trials did not support its effectiveness against COVID.

“We were spending the day together as a family for my birthday, visiting different stores, and happened to stop by Urban Wholesale in Calgary. What was supposed to be a nice family outing took an ugly turn when a woman decided to make racist comments toward our family including telling us to "go back to our country." A simple situation involving my nephew seating on a chair could have easily been resolved with kindness or understanding, but instead it turned into hate. What's even more hurtful is that half of use have been proud Canadian citizens for over a decade and the other half of our group born here, this is our home, and no one deserves to be treated that way. Thanks to the manager at Urban Wholesale for stepping in, de-escalating the situation, and banning the woman from all their stores.
