Gas prices were low during President Trump’s first term and skyrocketed under Joe Biden. They were low during the first year of Trump’s second term and are now high this year because of Iran and efforts to undo the damage Biden did to American energy production. What’s remarkable is that gas prices are still averaging lower during Trump’s current term than they did under Biden, even with the recent increases. You’d never know that if you just watched the MSM, of course. They’re still rife with TDS and will go back to mostly ignoring gas prices once the Iran conflict is over and prices fall.

@SaltierSauceAL @AFpost Again, you're unable to deal in nuance. Your argument suck. You just keep throwing out whataboutisms. Been the same thing for 10 years with you people. It’s boring & lame.

In an interview with The New York Times, Tucker Carlson argued that Trump has a “supernatural component” to him that makes those in his close proximity obedient and docile. Carlson said he experienced this effect firsthand, likening it to smoking hash. “And I think it probably literally is a spell. And the effect is to weaken people around him and make them more compliant and more confused. And I’ve experienced this myself. You spend a day with Trump and you’re in this kind of dreamland. It’s like smoking hash or something. It’s interesting, very interesting.” Follow: @AFpost

Yes, you are. I can deal in nuance, but it’s always whataboutism with you people, and that’s very dumb. These people are also absurd, and that is in part why Trump got re-elected. I get why Americans see them and think, “No thanks.” On the other hand, you believe a moron who has lied to you about just about everything—from elections to cost of living—and you can’t decouple your hate for the “left” from how badly Trump is fucking us.

Most obvious storyline heading into Spurs-Wolves that we’ll dive into in the coming days Over the last 3 seasons in the playoffs Minnesota is: 5-0 against teams without rim protectors 0-2 against teams with rim protectors And here comes the greatest rim protector maybe ever

The UFC event on the White House South Lawn is 45 days away, and President Trump says crews are "going to start building" a roughly 5,000-person arena "over the next week." "They'll have 100,000 people down by the Ellipse with screens, and it's all free," he says. "It's going to be great."

If my child were typically developing, I’d likely be a firm “no” on screen time. But our situation is different. Our son is neurodivergent and faces daily challenges just getting through the day. (He has a rare disorder—similar to autism, but with additional layers.) For him, screen time isn’t just entertainment—it’s comfort, regulation, and something that genuinely helps him navigate his day. All of this is to say: for some children, screen time isn’t a negative—it can be a meaningful and supportive tool depending on their needs.

This MRI study on young kids just exposed something terrifying: They scanned the brains of 60 children aged 3–5 — including 5-year-old Rose — and found interactive screen time is causing measurable loss of white matter in their developing brains. Even just 2 hours a day is linked to impaired neural connectivity, language, and literacy development. Professor Mike Nagel (neuroscientist and father) said his first reaction was simply: “Wow… I was not anticipating seeing anything like that.” We’re physically changing children’s brains before they even start school — and the damage is visible on scans. This one actually unsettled me. I’ve always suspected too much screen time was bad, but seeing real white matter loss in toddlers hits different. Parents of little ones — has this kind of research changed how much screen time you allow?

Yet our parents are the wealthiest generation of all time. My parents were teachers. They live on a lake, have boats, and own two properties. I work my ass off in business, making two to three times a current teacher's salary, yet we live in a shithole in comparison to my parents. Childcare & healthcare are a big problem, but everything costs more. Boomers were the last generation with upward mobility. The rest of us are in survival mode.

How don't folks see how insanely narcissistic and self-serving this man is? It's crazy. I saw a guy in his pickup truck with more Trump decals and pictures on it than what it would cost to fix his rusted truck. The only thing I could think was how much Trump hates that guy, yet that guy loves him. Trump wouldn’t want to be within 1,000 yards of him unless it’s at a rally—he wouldn’t do a thing for him—yet he’s beloved by him. Not sane stuff. None of it. Maybe we really do live in a simulation 😂
