This is Jennifer DeCasper @d3casp3r, the Executive Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee @NRSC under NRSC Chair @SenatorTimScott making a racially charged comment on a picture of @WesleyHuntTX Wesley Hunt’s ankles while he was at the White House Christmas Party with his wife this week. DeCasper helps oversee NRSC spending, and it’s worth noting that @WesleyHuntTX is in the Texas GOP Senate primary against @JohnCornyn, who is being funded by the NRSC. Is Tim Scott not black anymore? Very interesting commentary about another black Republican candidate. DeCasper served as Tim Scott’s 2024 Presidential campaign manager when he primaried President Trump, so it’s odd to see Minstrel show style humor coming from one of his top staffers, who also appears to be biracial. I’m just going to say, if a white man or white woman who worked for the NRSC made this comment about a black Republican, @politico would never stop talking about it.
