@Krylozz Yeah, we're taking note of that. Some participants are saying that it's harder to play red outlines for example with a red crosshair.

@femcelfps For my hypothesis, the p-value obtained from the t-test is 0.000295. The p-value obtained from fisher's exact test is 0.00495. Thanks for asking, I didn't even bother checking because I wanted a greater sample size lol.

@tv_monchi @TheMuffinMo is there a way to develop a web page test where u could play videos of different enemies appearing on your screen in different colours and the viewer press a button to measure which one a person reacts to the fastest?

@ThibautDT Yes, we’re changing from no outlines -> yellow -> purple -> red every game in order to control for the practice effect.

@tv_monchi Are you considering increase in deathmatch performance based on being more warmed up. From personal experience i know that i automatically will play better in DM after i have done a few

@SaturnAims @TheMuffinMo Good points. I personally maintained the same monitor settings during my DM's. I'll add to the instructions for the participants to make sure that your monitor settings are the same throughout the trials.

@TheMuffinMo @tv_monchi I agree with this. Things like temperature, color, gamma, brightness, environment, background light/lack thereof, saturation of game, monitor hue, and so much more that aren't static for this test.

@joshinfps You know what's funny? Red is banned on the Chinese VALORANT server, so they're all in the same boat as you.

@iclanlo I also have another dataset that is entirely composed of the pro players at VCT Champions LA. I think you would find the results interesting.
