.@tvlicensing can you please stop sending threatening letters to my address? I have told you several times I don’t need a license as there’s nothing live worth watching. You provide no services whatsoever at my address. Find someone else to threaten. And make sure whatever idiot you are planning to send comes with a court warranty as they will be trespassing without it. Also make sure they have an enhanced DBS

@tvlicensing We've received another letter! Can you confirm if we need to keep updating you after saying we don't need a TV licence, like does our declaration expire and need to be renewed or something?

@tvlicensing Hi, please stop sending automatic letters about getting a TV licence. We've told you at least twice that we don't watch live or catch-up TV so don't need a license. There's nothing on TV worth watching, it's all rubbish and not worth paying for. Thanks.

Despite telling the @tvlicensing that my 90yr old mum died and getting a refund on her existing TV licence, there have been probably five letters delivered to her house written in a less than decent tone. Please DO come and look through her window. There is no one living there😡

@fossman1979 @BBC New licences are always dated to expire 12 months from the first day of the month in which they are purchased so the expiry would still be the same for a licence purchased in their wife's name.

@tvlicensing @BBC If someone didn't renew and bought a new licence in their wife's name would the new licence have a different expiry date? Asking for a friend 😜

My TV Licence expired while I was out of the country on 30 June 2026. I renewed it yesterday after returning, but the new expiry date is still 30 June 2027, so it isn't a full 12 months. Is that correct? @TVLicensing @BBC

@CateDeighan @tvlicensingnews Hi Cate, if you're using BBC iPlayer to show the match then the school will need a TV Licence. You are not able to pay for just a one off game. To find out how to buy a licence visit tvl.co.uk/pay

@tvlicensingnews @tvlicensing We would like tow show the replay of the England game on Monday morning for our pupils at primary school. We are a small school of around 200 pupils. I have a personal player account and tv license is there a way I can pay for just a one off game?
