Disappointed but not surprised. If the press watched 4-5 episodes means they will only give her a proper scene in the last episode of the first half. And then we wait till November for the second half to watch her story? Wow I have no words.

On the whole, I'm also not terribly fond of how many of the female characters were written – the utterly humiliating ordeals they were put through. Taggie certainly bore the brunt of it, but I can't stay silent when it comes to someone like Kitty, Helen, etc.

That's why I can't help feeling that Taggie being sidelined in the second series was no accident. Rupert needs to have his fill of fun first and only then can Taggie be wheeled out as the trigger for his redemption arc.

What's rather striking, in fact, is that Jilly didn't actually love Taggie the way fans tend to assume. Originally, Taggie was nothing more than a trigger for Rupert's redemption arc. It just so happened that she ”caught on“ & became a fan favourite but more as an extension—

@ingstresting Taggie is a fan-favourite, let’s not act dense and twist people’s words. and frankly the show can do both continuing the leading lady storyline with little screen time and dive into other characters, it is not hard.

@ingstresting Everyone knows It’s an ensemble show. People have no problem with that 🤔 but when reviewers imply that the leading lady is taking a backseat in favour of the supporting cast audience are allowed to be upset about it

@teroandperdita @isayheylo i think that generally some people have a need for control and sometimes it's by trying to impose their way of interacting with the show or by restricting content. groupthink doesnt help too because some people end up validating that kind of behavior and joining in to be included

@teroandperdita @isayheylo you didn’t do anything wrong by posting that photo. they can act like it’s all about respecting the cast and crew’s work, but after they went around harassing every update account to get the pic taken down, people in that server were literally bragging about wanting to gatekeep

that RCB will be torn between his feelings regarding the two women. some ppl reacted with disappointment towards that, and others started complaining about others being upset😂

this is about the Cameron discourse. i don’t disagree with the actors views, however Rupert is gonna hurt Taggie along the way, the audience are ALLOWED to be upset with that. especially for the way he’s gonna go about it in the beginning.(disappearing on her, not explaining why)
