@ingstresting said they want to stay faithful to jilly cooper’s writing now that she’s dead, and i don’t like that. the way she wrote taggie was deeply misogynistic (which isn’t the same thing as just portraying misogyny), and those very 80s tropes in the books where they belong.

@teroandperdita @isayheylo you didn’t do anything wrong by posting that photo. they can act like it’s all about respecting the cast and crew’s work, but after they went around harassing every update account to get the pic taken down, people in that server were literally bragging about wanting to gatekeep
