Bowman acquiring every need Edm had this season is exactly what Oilers fans ask for. Would you like every player to succeed? Yes. The reality is not every single one has. He has done this with less than 2m cap space to enter the season (if my memory serves me well).

He had poor asset management, overpaid for aging players, and brought in anchors of contracts, even if he did "fill needs", they were steps backwards.

@mathewjdp I really don’t know why people want bowman gone? In one season essentially he saved the farm system. Yeah the Jarry trade was one that was probably a panic move. But other than that he’s done decent with so little.

With Lazar still on LTIR, and the Oilers dropping like flies, one guy I wonder about getting another look is James Hamblin. He was a fan favorite the last time he was here, infamously dedicating his first NHL goal to his Mom. He's been one of the Condor's best players this year, and to me he's the type of player the team needs right now with their injury riddled bottom 6.
