@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED Nonsense.
You’re referring to
“infant diving reflex” which stops around 4 mths old.
As I said …. Clueless.
English

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED I bet your kids are adults and still attached to your tit😂
English

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED Way before it gets that far if your on hand
English

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED If the laryngeal reflex has fully matured from an infant-specific protective loop into an adult-like mechanism dominated by coughing and precise vocal cord closure to prevent aspiration, around half cup of water is what it takes for secondary drowning,
you’d hear/see it choking
English

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED Laryngeal Spasm: This occurs if water manages to pass the mouth or nose and hits the throat. The vocal cords and epiglottis instantly spasm shut, creating a completely watertight seal that blocks fluid from entering the windpipe and lungs and it’s at its peak in babies/infants
English

@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED What the hell has that got to do with
preventing Secondary Drowning?!

@willowbet @DANNYUNFILTERED When baby or infant you can do this in shallow water that waist deep for adult making it very easy to grab/save if needed.
English

@willowbet @DANNYUNFILTERED My dad did it to me too and we’re all very strong swimmers, looks harsh but there is evidence that shows our human bodies react way better very young to situations like that.
English

@willowbet @DANNYUNFILTERED Mammalian Diving Reflex: This triggers when water cools or wets the child's face. The brain automatically commands the body to hold its breath, slows the heart rate down to conserve oxygen, and redirects blood flow exclusively to the heart and brain.
peaks from baby to infant.

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED No I don’t when My children fell over I let them get up and learn, of course I cared for them n put posters/band aids on them but children learn best young or you’ll end up with adult children….
English

@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED So you don’t!
It takes the tiniest amount of water to enter a child’s lungs which can lead to pulmonary oedema, which can be fatal. It can take up to 72hrrs after being in the water.
You are utterly clueless.
English

@AlexBarnicoat_ I was in hospital recently and they had a Pakistani man who lives near me in a bed, I asked what his problem was and was told he needed his big toe nail removed…
on my kids life that’s the truth as i couldn‘t believe it and even joked just give me some fucking pliers.
English

Parliament had to call an emergency debate because thousands of patients are now being left on trolleys in hospital corridors.
“Corridor care” is everywhere.
People lying there for hours, sometimes days, in pain and humiliation.
This is absolutely disgusting. The NHS is falling apart in front of our eyes.
We’ve thrown more and more money at it, billions extra every year, and it just keeps getting worse.
Full beds, endless waiting lists, chaotic A&E departments, and now patients are being treated like cattle in the hallways.
I’m sick of the same old excuses.
Every time something goes wrong they scream for more cash, more staff, more managers.
But the truth is the system is broken beyond repair in its current form.
Too much bureaucracy, bad management, constant strikes, and a culture that puts the system before the patients.
Throwing even more taxpayer money at this failing machine won’t fix it.
British people deserve proper hospitals and proper care, they spend a lot of money on this they deserve the best.
Not this third-world chaos were seeing in 2026.
As a Member of Parliament, I will fight hard for real NHS reform so patients are treated with dignity.

English

@CotswoldGirls @DANNYUNFILTERED The kid was nowhere near drowning😂
lots of parents wrap their kids up in cotton wool too much, some life lessons need to be hard.
English

@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED Have you not heard of
Secondary Drowning and how little water in the lungs it takes?
That was really horrible to watch.
English

@ellabailey2015 @DANNYUNFILTERED I agree it looks horrible but babies this age can’t be taught to swim but can learn basic lifesaving skills, turn on back and stay calm, and after a couple of these lesson the young child will love the water and float proudly
English

@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED I struggled to watch this.
Of course kids need to know how to floss and swim. But this ant the way to do it. She’s likely caused trauma.
How about he has swimming lessons? Or she calmly gets into the pool and teaches him to float.
Poor bugger choking on inhaled water 😢
English

@NotFarLeftAtAll Yes let me protect labour mps for a few minutes👊
English

@fairyhead32 @DANNYUNFILTERED the child was calm at the end and was proud of himself that he floated and he’s more likely to love water if he knows he’s not going to drown
English

@twbully @DANNYUNFILTERED Wth? she traumatised him is what she did. He'll probably have a fear of water for life after that. 😤
English
