@omtalk There are restaurants who put up WhatsApp QR codes to view their menu. That is ridiculous. All small service provider sales reps like airtel or banks even, ask for your id proofs on WhatsApp, to be able to upload them on our behalf. These processes need serious reforms too!

WhatsApp is becoming a defacto for service communication in India, which isn’t good. This metro kiosk for instance could have allowed ticket download via a QR code just as easily. With the Data Protection Bill in the works, hoping this gets taken seriously.
