Chelsea’s season in one sentence: Too much money spent to still look like a club searching for an identity. Unbalanced squad, constant resets, bottled transfers, no stability, no Europe and fans debating wages more than football. Yet somehow the blame always stops at the players while the chaos from the top keeps growing. Talent exists. Structure doesn’t. #ChelseaFC #CFC #BlueCoOut

Horrendous season is over. These are the only players I say are MUST KEEPS: • Levi Colwill • Jorrel Hato • Moisés Caicedo • Reece James • Cole Palmer • Estêvão • João Pedro • Geovany Quenda (but OK w/ loan) • Mike Penders (but OK w/ loan)

Take Cucurella off . He’s offering little going forward and Chelsea need more attacking threat. Bring on Reece James, move Gusto to the left or invert him, and let James attack Sunderland with crosses and progressive passing. Chelsea don’t need control now. They need impact.#cfc #sunche #EPL

Nobody is saying Enzo should be bigger than the club. The point is elite clubs know the difference between protecting authority and undervaluing key players. If Enzo asks for 350k, negotiate smartly. Performance bonuses, staggered increases, trophy clauses. Football isn’t black and white. Serious clubs manage elite talent properly instead of turning every negotiation into a power struggle.

@tweroo @Teems_GH No, serious club will let a player know they are not bigger than the club. personally, i dont want to let Enzo go, but i hate it when player creates drama because they were not given what dey want. Guess what will happen if Enzo ask for 350k and gets it.

They want to push him out like they did Mount, Gallagher and others. They are doing this because he questioned them. Next will be Cucu, the fans will accept it because they don’t like the players. It sets such a dangerous precedent. Wait for the briefs and OR spin

🚨 EXCLUSIVE - Enzo Fernandez is likely to depart #Chelsea this summer. Contract negotiations have failed to progress and the player feels disappointed with “things being done to make him leave” Barring a huge turnaround, he will play his FINAL match this weekend. #CFC

Act like an elite club, not a scared one. Reward key players smartly with performance bonuses and gradual increases tied to success, while cutting real financial waste elsewhere. Move on injury-prone players, stop hoarding bad profiles, improve sponsorships and grow revenue properly. Serious clubs protect elite talent and fix inefficiency instead of hiding behind PSR every time.

The Enzo Fernández Saga: An Unbiased Take🗣️ Let’s strip away the emotion and look at the facts: ✓ Is Enzo Fernández a world-class talent on his day? Absolutely. ✓Has the BlueCo ownership managed the club’s legacy and squad development effectively? Unquestionably, no. ✓Does Enzo deserve the tier of valuation he is fighting for? Given his profile, yes. But here is the reality of where things stand right now: We all recognize the signs when a player is mentally ready to move on. As one of the earliest signings of the BlueCo era still actively grinding for the badge, Enzo has given his all since day one. He has had patches of inconsistent form, but over the last two seasons, he has undeniably found his stride. Right now, we have a classic deadlock: Enzo is demanding terms that the board is currently unable or unwilling to meet. When both sides are this uncomfortable, someone inevitably becomes the scapegoat. The narrative will either spin that Enzo has forced his way out, or that the board is ruthlessly cashing in. Ultimately, fans shouldn't divide themselves over rumors. We aren't in the room, and we don't know the full story behind the scenes. The Ideal Compromise? If Enzo genuinely wants to stay, the smartest footballing decision would be to accept the rumored £200k offer—but structure it as "updated terms" rather than a standard contract extension. This allows him to assess the club's trajectory over the next year. If the team returns to winning ways and he performs to his standard, he holds all the leverage to demand a premium bump. The catch? The board knows that if they capitulate to this structure, it sets a dangerous precedent. Other core players will inevitably look at Enzo's blueprint and demand the same flexibility.
EYE-WITNESS@EbereCFC

What's your take on this Enzo saga, as an unbiased chelsea fan. Is 300k means Enzo is asking for too much ? Are you blaming blue co, for not readjusting their wage structure. Should Enzo leave, if he's no longer happy here ? Should we keep Enzo at all cost ?

Chelsea went from a feared football institution with elite standards and winning DNA to a club constantly debating wages, resale value, PSR and “structure” every week. Sporting directors keep rebuilding the squad every season, bottling key transfers, changing managers, failing commercially, stacking unbalanced profiles and then blaming “mentality” when chaos shows on the pitch. Meanwhile fans are being conditioned to downplay or emotionally prepare for the exit of every top player instead of demanding the club build around them. Big clubs protect elite talent and build stability. Feeder clubs develop talent for others. Right now Chelsea are dangerously looking closer to the second one. #ChelseaFC #BlueCoOut #CFC #EnzoFernandez #PremierLeague

Even the constant managerial changes show there’s no clear long-term football direction at the top. Every coach comes with a different philosophy, different profiles and different demands, yet the sporting directors keep building mismatched squads and expecting instant chemistry. You cannot keep resetting the project every season, bottling key transfers, struggling commercially with things like front shirt sponsorships, then blame only the players when performances suffer. The chaos at Chelsea starts from the top and trickles all the way down.

@tweroo @Onuh2Sam @Blue_Footy With everything you said here , how do we grow revenue if we’re not winning trophies or qualifying for CL spot. He’s also part of the team that didn’t qualify for Europe this season. We can blame the owners all we want , but the players lack mentality.

I think people are focusing too much on Enzo's goals. I keep hearing, "Who will replace him and score those goals?" Is that really how a team operates? It's all about balance. Get the balance right, and goals will come from everywhere. For me, football is a game of balance. If you are scoring a lot but still losing, you clearly have a major problem. To be honest, I believe Enzo Fernandez will unlock new levels under Alonso, but it has to be in the pivot as one of the two sixes. We can never have an optimal, aggressive, and mobile counter-press or high press with Palmer and Enzo both playing in the pocket. It's a balance we need to find. We need to look beyond his goals to find the right balance for the team.

Funny how the sporting directors escape criticism while the players get blamed for everything. Build an unbalanced squad, reset the project every season, gamble on potential over experience, then scream “mentality” when things go wrong. Elite clubs are built from the top down, not by vibes and spreadsheets.

Then the club should manage it properly instead of acting scared of every negotiation. Fofana is reportedly on huge wages despite barely staying fit, so why is it suddenly a crisis when one of the most important and available players wants improved terms? Look across Europe too. Top midfielders at Madrid, City and Bayern earn elite wages because clubs understand the value of controlling games from midfield. You don’t keep world class talent on “potential wages” forever while expecting world class performances every week. Chelsea should focus on growing revenue, securing bigger sponsorships and improving the commercial side instead of making fans feel like rewarding elite players will bankrupt the club. Big clubs solve these problems, they don’t constantly hide behind fear.

@tweroo @Onuh2Sam @Blue_Footy I’m not downplaying his talent and his level. So let me ask you this , would you want Chelsea to increase Enzo’s wage to 250k , and risk other players asking for the same wage later in the season?

@OLAMZY2012 @Onuh2Sam @Blue_Footy If Enzo wasn’t doing anything special, Madrid wouldn’t be monitoring him this seriously. Elite clubs don’t spend time chasing average midfielders. Chelsea fans are downplaying a player that some of the biggest clubs in football clearly rate at world class level.

@tweroo @Onuh2Sam @Blue_Footy Take us to Europe and negotiate for wage increment. Nothing he did this season that’s so spectacular of him to demand an increase. For me, that’s just the truth. Unless we just want to add emotions to this , it’s nothing spectacular.

He signed that contract before becoming one of Chelsea’s most important players. At every elite club, when a player’s value and responsibility rise, new terms get discussed. And using the lack of European football against Enzo feels unfair when he was one of the few consistently performing in a chaotic season.

@tweroo @Onuh2Sam @Blue_Footy Nah , this is an incentives wage structure. He knows this before signing for the club. He’s on a six yr contract , this isn’t the time to be negotiating for an increase wage. He’s also part of the team that’s ending the season without European competition.

Chelsea are gradually becoming a feeder club and that should worry every fan. When your best young talents constantly attract interest from Madrid, Barca and Europe’s elite, the question should not be “how much can we sell for?” but “how do we build around them?” Big clubs make elite talents feel untouchable. Feeder clubs develop them until someone bigger comes calling. Right now, Chelsea are dangerously starting to look like the latter.

This is the contradiction. Fans cry about missing out on elite players like Kvaratskhelia, Olise and Osimhen because the club refused to stretch financially, then turn around and support the same rigid structure when it affects one of our own best players. You cannot demand elite standards while constantly thinking small in big football decisions. At some point, Chelsea must decide whether the goal is to build a dominant football team or just maintain a perfect spreadsheet.

The level of foolishness some Chelsea fans display makes me want to puke. We lost players like Kvaratskhelia, Olise, and Osimhen because of the same wage structure. You all saw them play this season and you all criticized BlueCo and wished they went all out for them. Now you want one of our most experienced players and vocal leaders in the team sold because of that same wage structure. Your foolishness knows no bounds.

@CFCKhris That’s the difference. Top clubs know when to stop acting like accountants and start acting like elite football institutions. If every big decision is driven by fear of wages and resale value, eventually you stop attracting and keeping top-level talent.

This refusal to pay players what they’re worth is the reason we have Neto instead of Olise, Garnacho instead of Barco or Doue, Delap instead of Osimhen. The cycle keeps repeating itself and you wonder why we struggle to compete. Man united last season had a moment of self reflection, signed Cunha, Selsko and Mbuemo and that turned things around for them. They also refused to sell Fernandez even when a big offer came in from Saudi. That’s the big difference.
Shema🥇@umwxxmi

@TheManagerMeter @CFCKhris How many times are we gonna keep doing this. We are going to sell our most consistent player just because we can't increase his wages which he deserves and the club increased James wages and he barely plays. Do you think enzo doesnt have a point to ask for it what he is asking

Caicedo is elite defensively, but Enzo influences the entire game differently. Players like Enzo control tempo, progress play and dictate matches mentally. Those profiles are rarer and usually become the heartbeat of top teams. And asking for improved wages after becoming one of the squad’s most important players isn’t “throwing tantrums.” That happens at every elite club. The question is whether the club values him enough to reward his importance properly.
