@Pandahandling @BMaz1 Not to be that guy, but a lot of people were saying the same thing about Cozens when he got extended. He’s a good player, but never really took off offensively to where we all wanted him to be. And to a lesser extent Mittelstadt.

@BMaz1 True but Benson is 21yo. He will continue to develop almost assuredly. He was also our best forward in the playoffs. And Ostlund is on an ELC, so while I get where youre coming from that is inconsequential when discussing a Tuch extension. Ostlund is penciled in either way.

If the argument against signing Tuch is that the Sabres might have one bad contract on the books in 2033 what is holding this up?

The person/people who should give an answer about the Cooks play isn't referee Carl Cheffers. It's whoever is in charge of replay review. A pool report with Cheffers is fine, but he doesn't decide to have an extended review or not.

@SalSports He had possession (even if simultaneous) and was down by contact. The whistle was blown and Cooks still had it. Why was the defender allowed to rip it out so late after the whistle?? Simultaneous possession stays with the offense.

When a team wins usually not much talk about poor strategy. Sean McDermott made a huge mistake that easily could have cost them the game. 1st and goal on one yard line with about a minute left. Should have had Josh Allen try to go down at 6 inch line. Let clock run down to about 20 seconds. Then 3 chances to tush push in from 6 inch line and leave little time on clock. Jags had a minute to go and only needed about 30 yards to get in FG range. Bills were very fortunate to avoid OT.
