@ac_landmarks I still havent finished the game. Whoever was the voice director did the actors a disservice. Needed a hybrid of naoe and yasuke. Making yasuke essentially a tank in an assassins creed game with 0 movement is the worst gameplay choice they ever made.

Assassin's Creed Shadows was such an innovative project for Ubisoft... it enhanced the Anvil Engine to great lengths & gave us a beautiful, lived in world. Its story only works with the 2 characters that lead it. It's sad that most of its criticism came from people who just couldn't fathom playing a factual, historical character that elevated the narrative the game offered. Alas, Shadows will be remembered for its ingenuity and guts to defy the norm & shoot for a story that entangled a shinobi & a Samurai to a great adventure.

Battlefield 6 was the last chance for the franchise to last and they dropped the ball again, it’s actually pitiful. Poor support, lackluster of updates and repetitive gameplay with no rewarding progression system is why this game failed.

But in our fallen world we sometimes have to use fallen methods to achieve a good goal. There IS such a thing as a Just War. They’re rare, of course. In the 80s I knew several Iranian families who had fled the regime. They all had tales of the fanatic murderers who’d seized power, who hurled their children into machine-gun fire in the Iran-Iraq war. Hundreds of thousands of Iranian teenagers ran to their deaths in white robes, armed only with a hand grenade. The Iran horrors against their own people go decades back. I believe that Iran’s government has proven itself so monstrous that they have built their own case for a Just War against them. I pray for a swift and decisive end, and for a glorious dawn of freedom for a New Iran.
