I’ll help you out. A rifle projectile has a hollow point for stability because of inconsistency in manufacturing a tip. It is not intended to nor does it cause ‘mushrooming’ on impact. A pistol round is the typical ‘hollow point’ you’re referring to and I appreciate the nod to my theory.
