The Texas board of education has voted to move forward with the approval process for a curriculum that would include Christian Bible lessons. The curriculum would not be required, but districts which choose to use it would receive an additional $60 per student. Some of the lessons included are: - the prodigal son - the good Samaritan - excerpts from psalms - the book of genesis is used in a classical art lesson - and more This is a push by fanatics for religious indoctrination, while not funding resources for actual education.
