@txsmomma This was early Saturday, in the pouring rain, and the carriers were soaked, torn up it looked like. I couldn't have kept them in there until Monday morning anyway. I have no idea if the cats were strays, feral, pets, etc. The lady just did it before I could really think about it.

Yall ... just got a knock on my door, the neighbors were out riding 4wheelers & found 3 cats IN CRATES on the side of the dirt road IN THE RAIN. So they brought them to me. However, they just released them in the yard & they bolted into the brush. I'm sure they'll be back though

every school should have a "fix-it lab" where students learn to repair their clothes, bikes and electronics. we should grow up knowing that not everything is disposable, that care and repair are part of living well on this planet.

It’s upper management that I have a problem with! Managers get the blame, bullying, and pressure but employees don’t ever see the behind scenes of the reality! Upper management who lead by fear are poor leaders and leave managers with little room to lead their teams. HR should back managers and hold supervisors accountable! It starts at the top. Great managers take the fall for shitty upper management leadership.

You made the right decision! Better sooner than later. Hopefully Spark can bring in some decent tips. I know seniors that can’t get out will pay good for grocery delivery. Buys you some time to find something you really want. You’ve come this far! Life is a struggle these days and you’ve had a full plate! Give yourself some grace! You got this!

So I spoke to the management & hr today & basically it's legal in GA to not offer breaks, up to each store management's discretion. I physically can't deal with, so I had to quit. I have to prioritize finding another job or even driving delivery in the meantime. I was offered

@t14159 @KathieMoe2 @ick_real Well lucky for me I don’t have asthma and it’s contained in a tiny bottle mixed with a carrier oil, for me to personally sniff, to keep from gagging on the profuse stench of the stinky employee. Nobody else can smell it, unlike the stank from the greasy employee.

Does your boss have the right to tell you that your perfume is too strong and it’s offensive to others in the office and you should stop using it ?

@KathieMoe2 @ick_real I keep peppermint essential oil at my desk and sniff it occasionally. I honestly get nauseous from the greasy sour smell. Fortunately the person just moved to a different department.

@TheReallMrDean @ick_real And that’s what this person does!! They spray themselves throughout the day with body spray and it just makes it worse. Fried food, dirty hair, and bath & body works = gross!

@Krissa_Kray_ After Hurricane flooding, had to gut home and half bath in living room. I didn’t rebuild cabinetry in that 1/2 bath. Did elegant pedestal sink. It turned out lovely and gave the 1/2 bath more space. To each his own.

To people redoing bathrooms/flipping homes/etc PEDESTAL SINKS ARE A BIG "NO"

@TheNerdyCatLady Yeah that’s not gonna work. That’s unrealistic expectations from an employer. Good productivity requires breaks. Hope you find something else quickly.

I don't know what to do. This new job has 7-10 hour shifts with no breaks. None. No lunch break. No 15 min break. Nothing. I don't think 9 hour shifts with no breaks is gonna be sustainable for me physically. But I need the money. So I dunno what to do. Try to push thru?
