@rohindhar What is wrong with gas? I'm glad I don't live in CA as my tankless gas water heater is one of my favorite house upgrades I've ever done. Everyone in my home can shower at the same time while running the dishwasher and washing machine and all have enough hot water.

Is this regulation banning gas water heaters actually really happening in the entire Bay Area in California? When I was an intern at Microsoft, the dude I shared an office with used a blank keyboard so he could switch back and forth between QWERTY and DVORAK. It was basically magic to me that his brain could do both!

I've noticed that from the 40s until the mid-80s, in most scenes in movies that showed the sky over an American city (but especially LA) you could see smog. This seemed to be most pronounced in the mid-60s through mid-70s. Opening credits sequences were an exception. Where these sequences included a long shot of a sky over a city, it seems that the filmmakers usually made an effort to shoot early enough in the morning so that the smog wouldn't be all that visible. In more recent decades, air pollution has mostly disappeared from movies shot in American cities, because it has mostly disappeared from American life — one of many ways our lives have gotten better.

The 2020 IONIQ has completely died. Won't switch on, just flashes the yellow key indicator. RFID override doesn't work. No display, can't open boot or charge door. Just dead. Coincidentally just after a complete interior professional stream clean.
