@CorgLeo @vNyo_ It has some of the best combat and gameplay in the series, but monotonous level design, no dynamic camera, loss of anime stylization and adoption of RE engine makes some characters look uncanny like Dante and Vergil, and the story is just DMC3 but worse with a split narrative

I have played the games, multiple times, I own all of them. The E3 announcement of DMC 5 it's still one of my happiest days ever. It's one of my favorite videogames franchise if not my favorite. But, I also love the Netflix show cuz I think is great.

@Ultra__Mayhem imo DMC5 is the worst dante design. Both him and vergil just look uncanny. Their DMC5 designs don’t really look like a proper evolution of previous games, but I think that’s because stylistic changes and different engine

Other shows like the boys deviated from their original source material but are still considered “good” shows. I see why people are upset but no one highlights the good parts of the show

@txyvms @randevu_01 Dante, Vergil and Lady are absolutely different characters than in games. Their whole point is missed. Half of the story is retconned, shit doesn't make sense (for example Caveliere Angelo being in s1 without Trish)
