Am I the only one that sees a problem with working 8-9 hours a day and then going home to having about 4 hours to yourself which includes getting ready for the next day??? This is not life…

Teacher orientation needs to include an explanation on the difference between “reply” and “reply all”.

Today our parents surprised our entire staff with ready to bake dinner for our first day of school. 🩷🙌😭 I can’t even. This is the most thoughtful gift. Sharing for anyone who is looking for ideas on how to love on a teacher at the beginning of a school year.

When a teacher resigns, let’s find out WHY and not attribute it to a character flaw....and then districts need to do something about it! I’m sick of hearing ‘teaching isn’t for everyone.’ Right now, teaching isn’t for ANYONE! We have serious processes to resolve!

And tomorrow I’ll face 18 perfect third graders with real feelings about this💜 we must find a way

Absolutely frustrated

We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They get 15 mins of recess every hour. They have NO standardized tests except for PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. Ironically, in the 1970's, they modeled their education based on US schools and US university research.
