@totally_t_bomb So it’s tricky but just being physically near a good team isn’t the same as winning a game against a good team. Losing all your games against the good teams is actually evidence that you aren’t good—maybe even bad. You don’t get a reward for being bad in sports.

@TyMastersonKS Farmers are not getting squeezed by property taxes. We already tax agricultural ground at incredibly favorable discounted rates. You should at least be honest about what this is: another handout for wealthy baby boomers that the rest of us have to pay for.

I’m extremely disappointed the House blocked the people’s ability to vote on real property tax relief after it passed the Senate. Property taxes are squeezing Kansas families, seniors on fixed incomes, and farmers. Kansans expect action, not excuses. I will keep fighting to deliver real relief and I urge the House to put taxpayers first.
