Untrue. Nyara and Ana Valens never ran any sponsor attack or cancellation campaign against Kirsche. That's a fabricated smear that's been recycled endlessly by people who hate them. I asked them both about their past and most of it was she ever did was push back on creators spreading blatant transphobic talking points and misinformation. Their was no mass DMs to brands, no coordinated "get her dropped" pressure, no cheering on life ruination via sponsors. Zero evidence of that ever happening. Ana Valens wrote articles critiquing views in the VTuber space which including ones mentioning Kirsche's takes, but those were opinion pieces or reporting not a direct sponsor harassment campaigns. Kirsche even got Vice articles taken down after pushing back, which shows the claims were overblown smears from the start.

The problem ff14 faces is its poor reward structure which doesnt incentivize replayability. Content is slammed then forgotten quickly, with a sharp falloff. If you miss the wave then you'll be relegated into joining niche discords to create private events to tackle content. You shouldn't have to use external grouping tools for PUG content as the only recourse to clear it. The other glaring issue is the DCs keep players separate and silod and dont have centralized pug listings. Exacerbated when you have limited "prime time" hours to play on a given DC. Its supposed to be an MMO and there are systems in place actively preventing you and inconveniencing players from FINDING each other or even being able to talk to players. No quick join tools to sync with friends. If you DC hop forget using any social systems since they break when you're not on your home server. Smaller silo'd listing mean people may want to run the same content but if they are on different DCs they are invisible. You're also limiting the pool of players for casual content and duty finder queues. Priority #1 for 8.0 should be bringing people together and making it much easier to see what your friends and fc/linkshell mates are doing, easier to communicate and join queues and add more enticing rewards so people have a reason to keep running content more than once.

Duet Night Abyss had a serious security issue yesterday A game update installed malware on players' PCs and added a hidden task that could run later. The developers (PAN Studio) said hackers attacked their office computers and game servers. This is the second hack in a short time. They fixed it with an emergency update that removed the malicious files. If you updated the game yesterday, scan your computer for malware. Check the %TEMP% folder for anything named Logs.exe and look in Task Scheduler for suspicious tasks. Change important passwords as a precaution.
