As indie, I gladly give Valve 30% cut.
They’re supporting open source: Linux, Proton, Fex-Emu, etc. Valve is keeping tech free and markets accessible for all.
They’re prob the only one that still care abt gaming, the gamers & devs.

Now all of those hard works begin to strengthening Steam positioning in the gaming market even further. Even Epic Games Fortnite hype is slowing due to Epic never chase long term, just trends.

Valve literally made proton to make video gaming w/ Window games on Linux possible. Make a Steam Deck after the successes of the Nintendo Switch which now kicks off the many variants of PC handhelds. Valve is really doing something.
