@japan_nobunaga STOP! This post feels like a compromised account. And a lot of the replies end in "lol", which I don't recall seeing from him before. This also feels a lot different than his normal writing. I suspect his account got hijacked over the last hour.

There is NOTHING more sinister than a government preparing the ground to declare their opponents domestic terrorists in order to hold onto power. This man represents the worst among us. He knows what Trump is doing is wrong, he knows what Trump is doing is causing immeasurable reputational damage for the US on the world stage, but his own hubris and ambition forces him to defend the indefensible, and indulge in baseless fear tactics. He is a despicable, traitorous and vile character who is willing to sacrifice his own values and those of the country he swore an oath to serve at the altar of a criminal corrupt pathological liar and adjudicated rapist, in furtherance of personal ambition. Shame on him.i don’t know how he sleeps at night. Other than upside down in a cave. 🎥 TikTok - vm.tiktok.com/ZN8123Tpd/

@japan_nobunaga When operating machines, before starting the machine the operator will call "clear" and everyone will step back with their hands up so it's 100% clear no one is at risk. You're right: “I’m sure I checked” is absolutely the most dangerous sentence an ordinary person will say.

In Japan, train drivers point at things and shout at them. Green signal. Point. “Good.” Speedometer. Point. “Good.” Doors closed. Point. “Good.” To a tourist, it can look like a man in white gloves arguing with the railway. It is called shisa kanko: pointing and calling. The eyes see it. The arm marks it. The mouth says it. The ears hear it. A Japanese railway experiment found that this tiny ritual reduced confirmation errors to about one-sixth. So they keep doing it. After ten thousand safe departures, the driver still points. After twenty years on the job, the conductor still says the words. Because experience creates skill. Then, very quietly, it creates the most dangerous sentence in the world: “I’m sure I checked.” Japan does not demand that workers become machines. It gives the human body four chances to catch the human mind. Japanese trains are famous for arriving on time. I am more moved by what happens five seconds before they leave. One person in white gloves points. One person speaks. Hundreds of strangers begin moving. Hundreds of strangers get home. A safe country is built by people willing to look foolish for five seconds so strangers can live without fear.

Dort makes an excellent point, but all conservatives are missing the cornerstone of masculine warrior ethos, and this is why @SecWar is failing to make the deep cuts we need. I have debated writing this for months. I’ll get pummeled by all sides because it’s a knife in the heart of the liberal agenda, but also something the vast majority of MAGA gets wrong. The underlying feminine fear is exclusion. The feminization of the world is really growing inclusivity and benefits. They want more people in their circle, and they want their circle to have more benefits. The military has been feminized primarily by giving you more. More pay. More VA benefits. More opportunities for disability pay. More praise for your service. More parking spots at Lowe’s. Better food & barracks. And by bringing in more people. More active duty, more reserves, more civil service, more consultants, more women, more immigrants. Masculinity is a subtractive force. The most masculine & effective fighter pilot of the last 50 years was Colonel John Boyd, the “ghetto colonel,” who refused promotion, consulting fees, awards, everything. He lived in a shitty apartment & his wife & kids suffered. Boyd ruthlessly sought less in life so he could do more. The more comfortable the barracks, the better the food, the greater the praise & ribbons, the more incentive you have to stay & bend the knee. Boyd refused to bend the knee on any truth because lies get men killed. Masculinity, at its most fundamental, is the willingness to leave. That’s it. That’s masculinity. If they want you to compromise your morals, a GOFO will say: You have great job security. Nobody respects civilians. I was going to put you in for a luxury assignment. Stay another year and your retirement grows. It’s scary out there. And your wife will say: How will we afford the mortgage? I’m just getting to know the other wives. What benefits will we lose? These are legitimate questions. Getting kicked out of an organization or passed over for promotion IS a risk. Nobody wants to be the male lion off on his own to die. So Hegseth succeeds in areas like barracks, budgets, top cover & pride in your work because these all sit on the MORE side of the equation which is feminine. No fem liberal will admit to agreeing on anything, but the cogs will move to spend more. But why do they want more people & more benefits? Why, nationwide, do they want more immigrants & give them free stuff? Because feminine power is exclusion. The more members, the worse exclusion feels. The bigger the fall, the more histrionics & begging to be let back in which signals to everyone inside the group: never break the rules & leave. And the group’s number one rule is to consume more resources & benefits. Don’t believe me? Which service is the most masculine? Which spends the least on comfort? Which complains the least when an individual is sent out alone? Which doesn’t care if they sleep in the mud or on a rolling ship? Which never excludes anyone who leaves, but instead says “once a Marine, always a Marine”? The USMC, of course. The Marine Corps doesn’t care if you join because it makes its recruiting targets every year, and doesn’t care if you go, because once a Marine, always a Marine. USMC stripped away all the trappings and advantages of life. Same with the SEALs. Want out? Go ring that bell. We encourage you. Ringing it gets you more benefits, more comfort, more inclusivity, more time with girls. Stay here & you’ll probably get killed. Hegseth will fail because masculinity is about slashing headcount, burning bullshit & giving less of nearly everything, in exchange for more freedom of decision & the personal pride of knowing you can survive without anyone. That’s rugged individualism: nothing but a horse and a Marlboro cigarette on an open plain, because you would not bend the knee & beg to stay in. Masculinity is wanting less of everything except freedom of action, dignity and self respect.
InfantryDort@infantrydort

This post I’m quoting is a gut punch, but the problem reaches far beyond women. We have lived through the over-feminization of Western society, where emotional comfort slowly became a higher good than truth. Femininity itself is beautiful and necessary. So is masculinity. In balance, one gives civilization mercy while the other gives it spine. Torn apart and allowed to dominate alone, either becomes destructive. The imbalance has made honesty ruinously expensive. Correction is recast as abuse, standards as oppression, disagreement as harm, and the person willing to speak plainly is treated like an arsonist for noticing the smoke. People learn to soften every warning, bury every judgment, and leave obvious failures untouched because preserving someone’s feelings is safer than confronting what will eventually destroy them. That arrangement rewards liars and hunts truth-tellers. It produces adults who cannot endure correction, leaders who cannot deliver it, and institutions that protect emotion long after reality has breached the walls. Masculine and feminine virtues built civilization together. Compassion without judgment becomes indulgence. Strength without compassion becomes brutality. Western society lost the balance, then began punishing anyone who tried to restore it. Reality will restore the balance eventually. By then, the truth we censored will return wearing consequences.

Why did you wait so long to insert your hands into Canadian pockets? Your administration contributed nothing to this project. Canada stepped up and paid for it all, and carries the financial burden. This is like raping you neighbor's daughter. Pay half of the construction costs if you want to share the revenue. Sponging off your neighbors is leeching. Pure & simple.

The USA struck a great deal with respect to the Gordie Howe Bridge. Before this deal we got NOTHING. Now, the U.S. gets 50% of net revenues until 2041 and a say in setting the tolls. Our share is before interest and principal. This is the Art of the Deal in action.

@Will_Tanner_1 This is a very old story that has been investigated and picked at for millennia. The men are not merely "strangers," but suitors actively harassing Penelope. They take up residence in another man's house. They eat his food. They harass his family. They are also a plot device.

🔥CANADIAN WILDFIRE SMOKE RETURNS TO THE TRI-STATE THIS WEEK... 🌫️ A strengthening area of high pressure and a favorable jet stream pattern will pull wildfire smoke south into the Northeast by Thursday. Expect increasingly hazy skies, reduced air quality, and the smell of smoke to become noticeable—even across NYC. Combined with the building heat and humidity, it'll make for a very uncomfortable end to the week. I'll have the latest timing, air quality impacts, and heat this week at 7 AM on @PIX11News.

Be honest with me, Americans 🇺🇸 Do you actually fly a flag at home? In Japan, almost nobody puts a national flag on their house. It would feel weird. Formal. Rare. But online every American porch just has one… or wait. Sometimes I see THREE 😳 So now I'm curious: How many flags are at YOUR place? Porch? Truck? Mailbox? Show me / tell me + your state 🇺🇸

@HLC_actual @BunnyBlitzz @IraninSA Arabs think they've won a war if any of them are left standing because they don't know what military victory looks like. The last time an Arab army beat a non-Arab force the primary sidearm was the sword.

Ok let’s do a thought exercise. Let’s say the US said the Panama Canal is closed and china said no. The US then hits some ships with drones to prove it. China then shows up eliminates most of the current administration, our entire Air Force, navy, and any targets they can verify. The US responds by throwing missiles into Mexico and Guatemala. The Chinese respond by a complete blockade of all trade in or out of the US with complete air and naval superiority dismantling our ability to retaliate. So the US has plain clothes individual with small RC drones keep hitting ships that try to pass. Most commercial companies can’t risk trying and losing a ship so they wait it takes very few drones to make traversing the canal dangerous. Every time we do China destroys more of our infrastructure and any military equipment they can find. In this scenario you would say the US is winning. I would disagree and say we are surviving. Merely existing.
