@dcinvestor average person doesn't care for art in general. at art basel I asked a lot of trad art people this question and mostly received negative responses. we may be a select crowd for now.

honest introspection: do you think your average person respects digital art? i think it's been looked on by many as a novelty, replicable infinitely, and no way to assign real value NFTs dramatically shift this and imo herald a new golden age for digital art & artists

@osf_rekt that's how industry reports success. which can be in conflict with the artist's view. i think back to Metallica's answer about success. something like "we don't measure by records sold, but by excitement of the crowd."

Debate: is it more beneficial to the space to create a successful game that is walled to a community, or comes at a cost, or to create a successful game that opens the ecosystem to more people. Exclusivity, supply & demand, or open onboarding. Thoughts?
