We all have supported you for your great vision and your successful tenure in Gujrat where you've actually brought a great change. I am a very small man but I feel that the country needs 10 things urgently and if you implement the same, I can assure you that for next 20 years you will be the undisputed king of our hearts. 1. Free drinking water for the country. Water taps with R.O. plants on all bus stands, metro stations, markets and other public places. That's our birth right denied to us since independence. 2. Free Public Toilets at the above mentioned places. This will give dignity and respect to your citizens. 3. Fix MRP of all vegetables and fruits weekly and publish in news papers. There must be a fix price of every item for Farmers, wholesale markets and retailers. This will bring the skyrocketing prices down and ensure profits for everyone, not just the middlemen. 4. Implementation of ZERO TOLERANCE in Policing. People must respect the law and have fear if wrong. There must be a minimum Jail of 1 week for any petty crime like eve teasing and 3 months jail for any other crime. 5. Fix a return price on packaging of all products. Shopkeepers would take back all empty wrappers, boxes, bottles, sachets and pay the customer some money back. The empty packaging would go back to manufacturer and it will be his responsibility to recycle that. This will make our streets free of all trash and clean. Imagine if an empty cigarette box could fetch 50 paisa, who would ever throw it? 6. Cleaning Rivers and water bodies. Our rivers are sacred but now are no more than stinking dirty sewage lines. Please clean them and beautify them so much that they become a picnic place. Walkways on both sides, beautiful lighting, parks, cafe's, hawkers can all be a reality. 7. Set up more nuclear power plants like the Kudankulam plant in Tamil Nadu to make India an Energy Rich country. This would ensure Running industry, fertile lands, faster trains, better yield in agriculture and less dependency on Petroleum products. 8. Clear All roads and highways of all unauthorised structures, religious or non religious. Our roads are our lifeline and any obstruction leads to traffic snarls and also national wastage of fuel. 9. Beautification of cities, towns and villages by using trees, plants, flowers, fountains, lights etc. All this will be possible only if you implement point no. 7. 10. Be approachable! Have a Facebook page, an email id, dedicated phone lines to listen to people. You may need to have a proper ministry of public grievances but people should get response and action taken on their voices. I am 100% hopeful that you can do it. Jai Hind! Sudhir
