It's pretty sad @TelOneZW falls in the same pit over and over again. Someone is not learning, we've had the same issue early this year. Network patch upgrades? Two weeks? Haisiriyo nguva yacho vabereki.

The Great Cantilever in its making. It’s poetic to watch all the manual work, movement, carrying, shouting, talking, laughter, banter & coordinated action that unfold day after day in pursuit of the goal.

FROM INBOX📩 | I was recently robbed of my laptop, and I urgently need your help to find the perpetrators. Here is what happened: I was selling an HP Pavilion 15 i7 12th Gen laptop on Facebook Marketplace. A man contacted me through the platform, and I gave him my phone number. He called me using the number +263785824657, and we arranged to meet at OK Marimba so he could inspect the laptop and finalize the transaction. I waited at OK Marimba with the laptop for about 45 minutes, but he didn’t show up, giving various excuses. Eventually, he suggested we meet opposite the Sports Stadium, claiming he was unable to get his car on time. At the new location, I met him, and he inspected the laptop, expressing his intention to purchase it. He mentioned that his brother, Adonai, who was in the UK, was the actual buyer and was purchasing it for his son. Adonai called me from the number +447428412992 and confirmed that he was buying the laptop. Adonai claimed he would send the payment—USD $610—via WorldRemit and did so promptly (or so I thought). I received a message that appeared to be from WorldRemit, confirming the payment. Trusting this, I photographed the man's national ID, handed over the laptop, and we parted ways. Later, I went home to collect my ID and immediately headed to 2nd Street and Speke Avenue to retrieve the money. However, the money wasn’t available. I was referred to Banc ABC as per the instructions in the supposed WorldRemit message. Since it was late (around 7 PM), I decided to go home and try again the next morning. Once home, I received a troubling text from the man I met earlier. The message read: "The laptop you gave us is locked, and we are going to destroy it. We have reversed the transaction and will only speak to you through the police." I called him, trying to resolve the matter, but he accused me of being a thief and claimed I had cheated him. It was at that moment I realized I had been scammed. I’ve since filed a police report and still have contact details for the individuals involved. This situation has been devastating for me. I’m a recent graduate, and I was selling the laptop to raise money for a more powerful one to practice programming and build my career. Losing this laptop has not only robbed me financially but also taken away my primary tool for advancing my career. I am desperate for help and would appreciate any assistance in locating these individuals and recovering my laptop. I have attached all the details and evidence I have about the case. @PoliceZimbabwe
