I always thought doctors were stupid when I was growing up, talking about diet this diet that. As I got older I started to see what they were talking about. Getting into shape is easy, the hard part is the drive to the gym. “I’ll go tomorrow” “I’ll take a rest day”. Both are fine until you don’t go tomorrow, and your rest day becomes a rest week eating Doritos on the couch. There’s 1440 minutes in a day, take 30 minutes of that and go do something. Personally I want to live as long as God allows me. If doing Cardio increases my longevity then ima do it. 80 year old me will be thankful I did when he has great grandchildren to take care of.
