An 850-member Parliament will be even more ineffective than the current 543-member House. MPs are legislators, not administrative executives. Simply adding more of them does not—and cannot—improve constituency administration, because MPs are not the administrative heads of their constituencies.

Took me months to complete this huge book, for I wanted to absorb every single event & further delve into them. A book I wish every Indian picks up! It covers everything India has gone through since Gandhi, & educates you on modern Indian history. Kudos to my namesake, Mr Guha.

Very impressed by the Rose Bowl and the friendly welcome on my first visit here. I went to the old Northlands Road for @hantscricket vs West Indies back in 1995 (seem to recall the Windies hitting 696-6 during an August heatwave) but until now I’d never been to the Rose Bowl. I’m now on 17/18 county grounds with only Derby to visit to tick off the set to go with my 92/92 league clubs.
