after 480,000,000+ $JUP votes were cast, the Net-Zero Emissions proposal has passed with a supermajority in favor (75%)
no more net-new JUP entering circulation. team emissions halted. mercurial sell pressure hedged. jupuary postponed (and snapshot preserved).
this is the most aggressive supply commitment any major token project has made in a while, and we're excited that so many token holders were in support.
i know this wasn’t easy. like any governance process, not everyone got the outcome they wanted.
but every side gave something to the cause here - including the team, the community, and the stakers. that’s what long-term alignment looks like.
now the only thing that matters is what we do next.
no more debates about emissions. no more supply overhang narratives. the excuses are gone. what’s left is execution.
we have things in the pipeline that are going to make this entire debate feel small. you’ll see soon enough.
oh and btw, $JUP staked is now at an all-time high.

75% of the Jupiter community voted Net Zero Emissions.
What that means:
No $JUP airdrop on March 7
Team emissions paused
700M $JUP back to the community reserve
Mercurial tokens distributed as planned, with all wallets monitored
Any moved/sold tokens will be bought back by Jupiter
The vote is done. The Jupiverse keeps building.

I voted no to $JUP airdrop on March 7th.
Some people voted for the Jupiter airdrop.
I don’t make many promises, but here’s one thing I can guarantee:
You will never meet someone who agrees with you on everything, not even in your lifetime.
Two intelligent people can look at the same situation and walk away with completely different conclusions, and both can still be reasonable.
It just means two separate minds trying to operate in the same world.
Mature people understand something simple:
The goal isn’t to agree on everything.
The goal is to understand what matters more than being right.
We can disagree on emissions.
We can disagree on airdrops.
But we shouldn’t lose respect over it.
That’s the real mission.

Still…
I strongly believe $JUP will move above $1 again.
Especially with the level of focus team plans to dedicate to the token after the final airdrop.

The truth about $JUP JUP started to dip in early 2025, right when most of the unlocks began. Obviously, the entire market took a big hit around that time as well. SOL later recovered to $245 in Q3 (about a 2.5x from the lows), but JUP couldn’t follow. That’s when the Mercurial unlocks kicked in too. Along with the Libra FUD the token couldn't recover so far... People ask why nothing about $JUP was announced at Catlumpurr ?! In reality, there was a bullish announcement with the ParaFi investment but beyond that, it didn’t make much sense to aggressively push the token while unlocks are fully underway. I don’t know the exact situation with team tokens, but Mercurial stakeholders are obviously dumping their allocations. That’s also why buybacks are necessary to eventually neutralize the sell pressure. You might think that’s dumb — but it’s not... By buying back the token, they accumulate a huge chunk of the supply (see pump fun) That makes it much easier to pump the token one day Not anytime soon tho as the unlocks are still ongoing for another year. Still, I strongly believe that $JUP will go above $1 again. There's no bigger company on Solana than Jupiter... Ps. Not judging anyone dumping tokens (99% would probably do that)
