As the exile is happening now, @ubaumann_ch created a repo where the networking kin can add their username so that the folks at "the new twitter" could find them
github.com/ubaumann/bsky_…
if you're considering the move, add your name there, lets see if we can relive the best days of twitter all over again.

How does your "Service Disruption" notification exactly work @RailService? You robbed me of 30 minutes of beauty sleep 😉
PS: this is definitely not the first time

GitHub Codespaces, along with tools like NetLab and ContainerLab make it easy to create and share labs.
netautlabs.net has the goal of sharing network automation labs open source. Hopefully, many more labs are coming soon.

#TodayInOpenSource This issue is a critical one!!1! Let me just ping 11 people who aren't even associated with the project, because why not!

After diligent effort, we are pleased to announce the publication of the inaugural draft of YANG NG (Next Generation) on April 1st.

@the_compiler Perfect! As a YAML engineer I have nothing against # as a comment char. Otherwise, I will look at the code and create a pull request
English

@ubaumann_ch Sure does! (Python just is the default language picked for minted, for... personal preferences :D). Only caveat is that it currently hardcodes # as comment char, but changing that shouldn't be a big issue (it's just a regex).

I was tired of adjusting dozens of line numbers for snippets in slides every time I changed something about my #pytest training. So I wrote a small #Python script to produce #LaTeX minted line numbers (range / highlights) based on code comments! github.com/The-Compiler/l…

English

@the_compiler I did not take a look at your code yet. Would it also support other files like YAML?
English

@the_compiler Nice. It could be handy for my network automation slides.

@ntdvps RFC 9254 wants to bring CBOR to the table (for Netconf YANG PUSH for now).
What are your thoughts about this?

Nils Lindemann (+2 others) did an amazing job translating a lot of the @FastAPI documentation to German. 🤓
But there are 124 PRs still waiting for 2 approvals to be merged. 😱

🚀 Loving #Pydantic! 😊 Version 2's BeforeValidator and AliasPath are game-changers, making data structure transformations a breeze. Excited about the efficiency and joy it brings to #Python #NetworkAutomation! 💻✨

@nickrusso42518 I am not sure if I understand your code, but I guess you could use "df.apply" to compare the two rows and create a new row.
English

To give a specific example, this code 100% works and isn't awful. But I doubt a pandas pro would solve it this way. It feels clunky and suboptimal, which is fine for a small data set.

Nick Russo@nickrusso42518
Python pandas is really cool, but completely overwhelming if you aren't a data science professional.

@dmfigol One new tool I am looking forward to trying is the Graph Database SSoT from OpsMill. opsmill.com
English

@dmfigol Many small tools, but I would need to think about more, and probably I would remember something more.
However, I saw in the last 2 years a growth of gNOI and gNMIc. Also, some people are working more and more with k8s and CRDs.
How is Nephio doing so far? Is anyone using it?
