This is when I got my first ever laptop from Anc in January 2022 after following him on facebook for some time. I graduated September 2021 and went for NYSC immediately in October 2021. The plan was to learn data analysis during my NYSC year, I did that but I was satisfied so I pivoted to UIUX Design, then Business Analysis. Long story short, Tech has always been the plan and the best investment you can make is getting a laptop.

Part 2 of the story is that the person was sacked and he went home with the laptop. He said he hasnt checked his bag since that day and isn’t sure if he took it 😂 Very wild aneema!!

My friend told me that they share laptops in their office. I mean someone logs in with their AD and they can share with others who don’t have laptops. As someone who has worked in a bank, I l cringed immediately 😂

Even some people with O’level and ND results are fortunate enough to get a job… Recommendations -( go there , tell them you’re from me) will get you a job faster than any degree or certificate.. If only companies will start looking beyond certifications and focusing on what applicants can really do.

You can have a master's degree and still be unemployed. You can have only a Bsc and be earning ₦2M/month. The market doesn't care about your certificate. It cares about what you can do.

@ubonanalyst Six years of growing versus six years of showing up are completely different things and most people can't tell the difference until they try to leave and realise their CV only shows loyalty, not progression. Time without growth is just an attendance record.

I always find it funny when people scream "I've been here for 6 years" to a new staff. Why? It is not an achievement. It's only impressive if those 6 years came with growth, raises, and new skills. Otherwise, it's just attendance.

My second class lower (2:2) degree is opening doors I feared would not be opened after graduation. 5 years after graduation and I have used the same degree to bag roles with multinational companies. If you are in school please try to graduate with good grades and if your grades are low, make sure you upskill before graduation. God is too good!!!
