Na verdade o melhor copo já criado foi o Superfest, fabricado pela Sachsenglas Schwepnitz na antiga Alemanha Oriental. Além de ser empilhável ele era feito de um vidro especial praticamente inquebrável. A Sachsenglas tentou licenciar o vidro para fabricantes ocidentais porém elas não tinham o menor interesse em vender copos de vidro que não quebravam e, portanto, não precisavam ser substituídos.
