Nigeria Bleeds Arriving back from my visit to Kano this evening, I received disturbing news and images from Jos of a painful attack at the Angwa Rukuba area, Jos North, Plateau State. The recurring loss of innocent lives in Plateau State reminds us, yet again, of the insecurity innocent citizens face in our nation without any protection. These continuous devastating headlines are a reminder of a nation that is steadily normalising the loss of its own people. It is unacceptable that these attacks happen with such frequency, and even more unacceptable that there seems to be no decisive, sustained strategy to end them. No nation or leader normalises tragedy. The safety of Nigerian lives must become non-negotiable, we cannot continue to mourn what should have been prevented. Enough is enough. My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and their memories never be forgotten. I pray that we get a country where the loss of lives is no longer a recurring reality. We cannot continue like this. -PO

Just a normal day as Peter Obi walks in to take a meal and interact with staff of @ChickenRepublic in Kano. Businesses will definitely thrive with Peter Obi as president.

Words of wisdom from Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, wealth doesn’t create someone attitude or character, what it dose, it brings out your real character as a human being. @KwankwasoRM

I’d like to apologise for hyping Alex Otti. My eyes are now open,I can see beyond the propaganda, and I can tell you this: I was wrong. Alex Otti is not a good governor. In fact, I can see clearly now,he is way better,a fantastic governor, delivering what his people have missed for years.

I wonder what is Saraki's game plan. He should have just retired instead of allowing Wike to reduce him into this.

Today in Abuja, I joined family, friends, and associates in prayer for the repose of Haijiya Umma El-Rufai at the funeral of the late mother of my dear brother, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. I extend my sincere condolences to Mallam Nasir @elrufai and the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May you find strength in the memories you shared and comfort in the support of those around you. I pray that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Aljannah Firdaus. May He also grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Moments like this remind us of our shared humanity, beyond politics, ethnicity, and religion, and the need to continue to build a society anchored on compassion, unity, and mutual respect. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

@DrFolaseye This is an apt description of the layers of the Obidient movement

Balami is correct !!!based on context. There are different types of Obidient, and it is important to distinguish them: 1.Core Obidient :Those driven by selflessness, integrity, and a long-term commitment to good governance, equity, and justice. They see Peter Obi as one who embodies these character traits, hence their followership and continued support. 2.Opportunistic Obidient — Those who latch onto the name for personal gain, whether financial, political, or for popularity. These are the “anywhere belle face” group ruled by monetary gains and willing to sacrifice anything or anyone for financial benefit or personal advantage. 3.Disillusioned Obidient — Those who started inspired, but after setbacks or lack of personal benefit, drift away or lose faith. Therefore, when people like Isaac Balami talk about “Obidient” moving into APC, it is important to identify which category they refer to — not all Obidient are the same. Most likely NO 2
Benkingsley Nwashara@Benking443

BREAKING: Isaac Balami has vowed to move Obidient structure to APC 😂 Wetin dey give these men morale like this. "Obidient" that was coined from Peter Obi's name is what he wants to use to campaign against Peter Obi.

PRESS STATEMENT 29-03-2026 RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY (NNPP) I wish to formally announce my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with immediate effect. I seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the honour and privilege of serving as the Party’s National Leader and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections. As a committed and bonafide member of the party, this was not an easy decision to make. However, considering the current trajectory of the nation’s political landscape, which calls for strategic realignment, I have found it necessary to identify with another political platform that offers the best opportunity to effectively change the nation. I extend my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman, Ajuji Ahmed and the entire National Working Committee for their steadfast support throughout my time. I also thank the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Committee, and all levels of leadership across the party — from the ward to the state level, as well as the legacy members of the party and all followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement for their dedication and commitment to our shared mission. We shall continue to collaborate and work together towards charting a better and more prosperous future for our dear nation. Signed, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE Former Kano State Governor, 2023 Presidential Candidate, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)
