No Sharia Law In Burkina Faso- Traore “I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law in this country. “To those Burkinabè studying Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, do not return to Burkina Faso. Instead of acquiring technological knowledge and skills that can help develop our country, you chose to study Sharia law. Stay where you are, you won't be allowed back here- President Traore

JUST IN: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), is set to establish a WTO sub-office in Aba, Abia State. This would make Aba the fìrst city in Africa to host a WTO presence of this kind. Acçording to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Aba offers greater security for foreign investors than many pårts of Nïgeria and Afrìca at large.

‼️BREAKING: My amendment to withhold 100% of U.S. aid to Nigeria until its government stops the slaughter of Christians has PASSED. American taxpayers should NEVER bankroll governments that turn a blind eye while Christians are abducted, tortured, and murdered. No more wasteful foreign aid!

I've been thinking about this almost every day. What would it actually take to ensure every single child in the South East is in school? I don't mean reducing the number of out-of-school children. I mean ZERO. I'm setting myself a target: Zero out-of-school children in the South East within the next 24 months. And within 4 years, I want us to drive illiteracy as close to zero as possible. I know it sounds ambitious. There are children out of school because of poverty. Some because of culture. Some because of religion. Some because they have to work. Others because there are barriers we've not even identified yet. But I genuinely believe this is a problem we can solve if we stop treating it as someone else's responsibility. So I'm asking for your help. If you had to achieve this, what would you do? I want practical ideas. Bold ideas. Crazy ideas. Lessons from other countries. Community-based solutions. Technology. Policy. Anything. I'll read every suggestion. If we can solve this in the South East, we'll create a blueprint that the rest of Nigeria and maybe even Africa can learn from.

Dave Umahi and the 5 Missing NELAN Engineers. The firm assigned five of its best engineers to the project. They were: • Engr. Nelson Onyemeh — Lead Consultant/CEO of NELAN Consultants, from Ihiala, Anambra State. • Engr. Ernest Edeani — From Nkanu, Enugu State. • Engr. Ikechukwu Ejiofor — From Umunya, Anambra State. • Engr. Samuel Aneke — From Nkanu, Enugu State. • Engr. Stanley Nwazulum — From Amawbia, Anambra State. During the course of the project, serious tensions reportedly arose between NELAN and the Umahi administration over project control and payments. According to the families of the five engineers, the Umahi government allegedly wanted NELAN to "take a back seat" so the state could exercise direct control, issue payment certificates, and give instructions to contractors. The then-Governor Dave Umahi reportedly wanted NELAN to sign or approve certificates of satisfactory completion for work supervised or executed by other engineers and contractors. NELAN allegedly refused, arguing that doing so would violate the AfDB contract terms, breach its professional obligations, and risk the firm, and possibly the project—being blacklisted by the AfDB. On November 3, 2021, the five engineers left Enugu for Ebonyi State in an official Toyota Hilux (registration number ERR 001 EB) for site supervision. They never returned, and, to this day, neither they nor their remains have been found. What happened to the five NELAN engineers?

The problem isn't PiggyVest or money market funds. The problem is comparing a business to an investment as if they're the same thing. Selling cement is an active business. It comes with rent, salaries, theft, damaged stock, competition, slow sales, and the risk that your capital is tied up in inventory. A money market fund is a low-risk investment. It's meant to preserve capital, provide liquidity, and earn steady returns not generate business-level profits. There's nothing wrong with earning ₦300,000 a month from a well-run cement business. There's also nothing wrong with earning ₦75,000 monthly from a low-risk investment while you sleep. Different tools serve different purposes. Smart people don't mock either they use each where it fits. In fact, many successful business owners keep their idle cash in money market funds while running their businesses. That's diversification, not laziness.
Harmless@HarmlessHQ

You'll have N5 million and Twitter investors would be advising you to lock it up in Piggyyvest, mmf on interest of 18% per annum. That'll yield you N900,000 at the end of the year and N75,000 every month. Very rubbish something. How can you be comfortable getting just N75,000 monthly on a N5 million investment. Instead of that, Go to any busy market within your town. Secure a shop. Go straight to Dangote cement and order for a trailer load. As at today, the factory price is N11,700. And there's 300 bags in a trailer load. That's a total of N3,525,000. And they will deliver it cost-free to anywhere you are in Nigeria. When the cement arrives, you can sell at N12,750 and within a month you can finish one trailer load and make N3,825,000. That'll give you a profit of N300,000 in just that month. And the interesting thing is that you may not even need to be there. Get a salesgirl and only come around to take stock records. Within a year, you have N3.6 million Naira profit and a huge portion of your N5 million capital is still untouched. Everything no be Piggyyvest and MMF. That's for lazy investors.

WANTED BANDIT ABUBAKAR USMAN CAPTURED IN DELTA FOREST Yesterday, I was informed about the abduction of Mrs. Blessing Chiedu, a native of Umunede Kingdom, who was kidnapped on 2nd July, 2026, along the Ani-Ifekide Farm Road, Ubulu-Uku. Her kidnappers had demanded a ransom of ₦100 million from her family. Immediately after receiving the information, I escalated the matter, and the Delta State Police Command's Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba, led by CSP Osakpolor, swung into action. Using our Hydra Tech Surveillance System, a coordinated rescue operation was launched, and yesterday, Mrs. Blessing Chiedu, a native of Umunede, was successfully rescued alive and unharmed along the Ubulu-Unor/Ashama Road. Following her rescue, we immediately launched a manhunt for the fleeing kidnappers. The operation continued throughout the night until approximately 6:45a.m today, when our Surveillance system located the gang to their hideout in the Ogwashi-Uku/Adonta Forest. A gun battle ensued, during which our combined team overpowered the criminals. One of the most wanted suspects, Abubakar Usman, was successfully captured, while other members of the gang escaped into the forest with their firearm. Investigations reveal that Abubakar Usman and his gang have been responsible for several kidnapping operations across Igbodo, Umunede, and surrounding communities, where they have extorted millions of naira in ransom from innocent families. I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori @RtHonSheriff, for providing the enabling environment that made this operation possible. I also thank the Commissioner of Police, Delta State, for his unwavering support and the officers and men of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba, for their professionalism. Thank you DSP Paul Xdot for doing this for our community. My appreciation also goes to the members of the Nigeria Forest Security Service Area Command Office, led by DC Admin Ebube Jegbefume; members of the Ubulu-Uku Anti-Cult Group; Ward 5B Councillor, Hon. Okocha Martins (Giant); Pastor Jude Chukwuweike Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, for his continuous support; and the Mayor of Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, Hon. Shadrack Azubuike, for his invaluable assistance during this operation. Our commitment to protecting lives and securing our communities remains unwavering. We will continue to work tirelessly alongside security agencies and community stakeholders to ensure that criminals have no hiding place. This is THE MAN OF THE YEAR. Alex Onyia is vindicated! He is my MVP. When he defended some of the children in his CBT Testing centers, he knew exactly what he was doing. Those children are on FIRE! Alex could vouch for some of them — because he knew that JAMB & WAEC are a walk in the park. Next time, when he calls out WAEC or JAMB, listen! Don’t reduce everything to tribe or Miracle centers. He has invested heavily in those children. I won’t forget when he ordered (1000 pieces of low cost — fairly used Lenovo Thinkpad PCs from Germany) in a hurry. He even promised to order thousands more! He keeps fighting for education. He fought for the students of UNN to have better hostels. He hosts Math Olympiad & trains teachers & pupils. He single-handedly put education back on the map. His advocacy has become an established powerhouse. Alex is global now! The Presidency are confused. They don’t know how to congratulate the children for winning 12 Gold medals & 3 silver at the STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy. Congratulating the children could easily be interpreted as promoting Peter Obi. The world-class performance of the children is why the government must begin to invest in education & sponsor education tournaments. Their victory is why tribalism & bigotry must die for Nigeria to rise. Aso Rock would have taken all the glory. All they needed to do was reach out & bankroll the children. Congratulating the Geniuses is easy for Peter Gregory Obi. After all, education is his strongest suit. 👏👏

This is Mr. Benjamin, and he is in charge of assessments for the International STEM Olympiad. He said that this year's exam was the toughest ever, and for our boys to get gold, it means they are far ahead of their peers. Nigeria has the brightest untapped brains globally.
