The best 3-point shooter in college basketball last season was Kon Knueppel, who played at Duke and is now the frontrunner for NBA Rookie of the Year honors with the Hornets.
The best 3-point shooter in college basketball this year is Milan Momcilovic of Iowa State.
While Knueppel shot 41 percent on treys last season, Momcilovic is shooting an off-the-charts 49 percent on 3-pointers this season.
Both Momcilovic and Knueppel both played high school ball in Wisconsin: Knueppel at Wisconsin Lutheran and Momcilovic at Pewaukee.

One of the justifications for NIL was that it was needed to stop standout players from transferring, either to prep schools or out of state. The amount of such transfers has not been impacted, because transferring to prep schools or out of state is not about NIL, nor is it really about competition levels in the vast majority of cases. It is about the grass being greener somewhere else, it's about the clout that comes with making such a move, and it's mostly about adults (often with financial gains to be had) convincing kids and families that it is necessary.

Hammerin’ Hank had every reason to be surly, jaded, bitter, cynical, and whatever else… but he wasn’t. He was incredibly nice, one of the game’s greatest ambassadors, and a source of positivity throughout the world. He’s a hero for more than what he did between the foul lines.

I’m not sure what the solution is and I doubt change is possible. But this just sucks.
I know tons of young boys in our community who love Illinois and they’re robbed of an opportunity to watch one of their best teams in a huge game. 9pm + start time on a school night is just dumb.
In a perfect world, they shouldn’t start any games between teams in the central or eastern time zones with a late night western time start. That seems reasonable.
If the west doesn’t have teams playing then that’s on them. The poor kids who love the game have no shot to watch it.

@WisBBYearbook Its cheaper this year on MLB.TV than FanDuel was last year. If you have cable or DirectTV it will be the same. It may be on a different channel. If you use Hulu with live TV or YouTube TV, than you have to pay. Its a very simple process.
