No new homes on the gas network from 2028. Common sense at last. Plug in solar is also coming. A game changer for many living in flats and smaller homes 😃 Oil and gas under attack 👍🏻 Heat pumps for all new homes and plug-in solar in green tech drive bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@IrisDuane That's only because the SNP voters are giving you their second vote, if it was 1 vote per person, suspect a different outcome

@Angelcalling5 Green is the way forward but there are big challenges to be solved eg wind turbines need oil to turn... Thru only last about 10 years before needing replaced, they are NOT currently recyclable, are America not bearing them in the desert, what are your plans?

When you hear people on here slagging off green power, it's either because they are paid by oil & gas, vote for those who are paid by oil & gas, or they're just thick, or all of the above. Green energy is a no brainer. Freedom from Putin and other regimes. No price increases

@theSNP What the majority of parents want is a well paid JOB... Rather than relying on hand outs so why not focus a growth agenda and job creation

Parents across Scotland have told us they need more support. The working day does not stop at 3pm. A re-elected SNP Government will extend childcare from 9 months old to the end of primary school, 52 weeks a year. Make it #BothVotesSNP on May 7 for a Scottish Government on your side. #SNP26

France v England whoever agreed the strips needs an urgent visit to Specsavers , the ref might be able to spot the difference but all the spectators and those seeing the wide angle TV pictures can only see 30 WHITE strips

If every SNP voter votes SNP/Greens, the BritNat representation in Holyrood will be absolutely decimated. That's not up for debate, it's just arithmetic. Forget which constituency you live in, just vote SNP/Greens to boot as many BritNats out of Holyrood as possible 🤷

@ZackPolanski @DeborahMeaden Curious how your windmills will turn with no oil to lupucate them, similarly how will you make the blades with no chemicals and also how will you recycle the blades which only last 10 years, the sooner you realise it's not black or white and everything has consequences usually bad

A new report shows hitting our climate targets by 2050 costs less than one oil shock costs the UK. We need a rapid transition to clean energy to shield people & the economy from price spikes every time oil prices jump. Some commentators still can’t connect those dots…

@TheRealJamieKay Nope as his total inexpensive would show through in seconds. Things are not black and white as he thinks and 99% politicians end up choosing the least worse option rather than what they think they want to do. Lots of people would be very disappointed by him

#gmb, we have to be self reliant on petrol. YES. That's why London closed the only refinery in Scotland. We are now obliged to England.

The majority of people in this country do not want us to be involved in this war. Keir Starmer of a few years ago wouldn't have supported this war. The only reason he does now is he will do anything Donald Trump wants - and it makes us all less safe.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

No more illegal wars. Introduce a Prevention of Military Intervention Act and put human rights at the heart of foreign policy. Review all UK arms sales and make us a force for international peace and justice.

@TheEconomist and they are the exact people who will pay a very heavy price when they eventually realise that it was all false hope based on simple school level ideas, don't you think if life was that simple others would have done it ...

@snowleopardess sure the greens are giving people hope but only issue is it's false hope as life is not black /white nor simple its bloody complex and most times the consequences are far worse than people think. hence why none of their policies have ever been successfully implemented

Really concerned to hear the Defence Secretary refuse to rule out UK's involvement in future strikes on Iran. Iraq lessons must be learned. Further escalation in the Middle East makes us all less safe. Starmer must rule out UK involvement immediately.
