Weather maps - old v new. They say they updated them for colour-blind people. My cousin is colour blind. It doesn't work. The number of cb people is small. Most see the colours and panic. It's just another "global warming" tool to keep up the con. Convince me otherwise...

What an absolute tool 😂 We have used red for heat for decades and Jay is terrified by it. He now feels ok with extreme heat because he’s changed the whole colour convention of temperature. I wonder what colour his hot tap is 😂

It's amazing isn't it? How much difference a colour can make. The Met Office chose a deep threatening red, to make you feel afraid. When in reality what are we looking at? 28-38 degrees celsius? Literally just done to score fear points.

For the second night in a row, we now have two successive occasions whereby two minimum records have been broken.. it doesn’t take an Einstein to recognise the location is not suitable for recording such data.. does it

We have provisionally broken the UK record for highest daily minimum temperature in May... again 😮 Temperatures didn't fall below 21.3°C overnight at Kenley Airfield, making it a 'tropical night' (no lower than 20°C). Remarkably, the record was also broken yesterday.

@Tw_timerAlder Maybe you can explain something - we both know its 3c warmer in a city centre than in the surrounding countryside. Tarmac is 50c and under a tree can be 30c cooler. You see this all the time at f1. So measuring in cities has an issue.
