Welcome to the official page for the 2021-2022 PBL class! Here we plan to update you about progress, information about sustainability, features from the students, and many more! Feel free to follow and as always, don’t forget to do more good, it’s our responsibility!

Pbl is really missing our seniors, but nevertheless, we press on! This week we're starting our DMG, or "Do More Good," projects where we intend to do a project each week that will positively benefit our community and we can't wait to get started!

The intent of the Water Petal is to revamp how people use water and to redefine “waste” in the built environment so that water is respected as a precious resource. All the water in an LBC certified building is completely cleaned and reused on site.

The intent of the Place Petal is to realign how people understand the natural environment. The human-built environment must reconnect with the deep story of a place and the unique characteristics found in every community so that story can be honored, protected, and enhanced.

A huge part of all the work that we have done for the Robbins Park Project has been learning about LBC. LBC is divided up into seven petals, each representing a different aspect of an LBC certified building. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to learn more about each petal!

Last night a group of us presented to the Ambler Environmental Advisory Counsel! The meeting was a huge success and we were able to get lots of good feedback from the community. It is great to have a great group of people supporting us when it comes to the Future of Robbins Park!

This is Barbara Purnell, Barbara is a Senior and it is her second year taking the PBL Class. Two years ago she was our go-to person with all things water petal, and this year she has been crucial when it comes to keeping us all working well together and moving forward smoothly.

This is a Solar Flower! We are planning on having two solar flowers at robbins park. Solar Flowers are a great way to both collect energy from the sun as well as educate the community about renewable energy. We are super excited to have solar flowers at our new building!

Happy New Year! PBL is all pumped up to start up this new year right with lots of hard work and determination, and obviously fun. We will be tackling lots of new tasks so stay tuned for updates in the Future of Robbins Park!

We are back! A small group from the OG PBL class as well as a few new comers who will be adding their input and expertise while we finish what we started with the Robbins Park Project! Stay tuned for updates regarding the new, Living Building Challenge Certified, Robbins park!

The PBL lab is in the process of being transformed! Large stationary tables are out! Today we are working hard in preparation for our workshop with the @GreenBldgUnited experts tomorrow!
